Earnshill House is a beautiful Grade I listed manor house set in 700 acres near the village of Hambridge in the heart of the Somerset countryside. The Manor House dates back to 1725 and has been privately owned by the Combe family for nearly three centuries.

Following centuries as a private home, Earnshill Estate has opened its doors to play host to spectacular wedding celebrations. The house is surrounded by 19 acres of woodland, featuring its own private Grove and walled garden, with several stunning options for a marquee wedding.

Intimate ceremonies for up to 50 guests are hosted in the beautiful Drawing Room, offering a seamless blend of heritage charm and modern luxury. With high ceilings, antique detailing, and soft natural light, the space is perfect for couples hosting a smaller wedding and seeking a classic indoor setting.

For larger ceremonies, couples have the choice of outdoor ceremony spaces (with cover as needed), and popular options include overlooking the pear Orchard with views to the stunning rear of the house, the front of the house as a backdrop with a dramatic external staircase entrance, or a more rustic ceremony in the extensive woodlands.

Following the ceremony, guests will be invited to gather on the lawn for drinks and canapés, surrounded by beautiful views of the Somerset countryside and with the house as a stunning backdrop. The celebration will then transition into the reception space for a perfectly curated wedding breakfast, featuring the stunning Dining Room or the beautiful Drawing Room for more intimate celebrations, or a marquee for larger gatherings. Their carefully chosen catering partner (Milkshed) will then serve your guests with a delicious wedding feast, before dancing and celebrations conclude the day.

The estate offers elegant and luxurious on-site accommodation for your wedding party, with eight beautifully appointed suites that sleep up to 16 guests in complete comfort, along with generous and comfortable living and dining areas perfect for relaxation and special times with your favourite people. For those requiring additional space, adjoining accommodation is available for up to four more guests, with capacity for two more if needed.

Inside, the house boasts generous living and dining areas, creating the perfect environment for shared meals, quiet moments, and wedding preparations in a beautifully styled and spacious setting. Set within stunning landscaped grounds, the house also offers a peaceful backdrop for pre-ceremony moments and relaxation. Guests are invited to explore the gardens or unwind in the expansive outdoor spaces, ideal for both quiet reflection and informal gatherings.

A range of leisure and wellness facilities enhances the experience, including a private sauna, hot tub, and a games room, offering the ideal balance of indulgence, entertainment, and relaxation.

Packages include breakfast on the morning of the wedding and the day after, and a pre-wedding supper with your own private chef can be arranged at an additional cost, meaning you can completely relax and enjoy spending time with friends and family.
