To the Dodford Team, where do we even start? From the multiple viewing sessions with different family and friends, to the trillions of questions I asked, to the service, and support on the day (and day prior). At each stage of our planning process, you’ve been out of this world and made our wedding journey a joy.

As someone who loved to plan and do everything I was always a little worried about just dropping things off and leaving it to be arranged. Well, if there is one piece of advice I can share with other people considering booking Dodford, or have booked, it’s don’t worry! Even with only accessing the venue at 11am, they were hot on everything. And I mean everything, from the chairs being moved in the Mortain Barn to make space for cocktail hour, decor being set up, and then moved. You name it, everything was done perfectly. Even a year or more out, you’re made to feel like the only couple in the world, let alone on the day.

We’ll be forever grateful to the whole team, but in particular Abbie who has been an absolute gem on the day as well as the rest of the team present.

Married January 2025

The most perfect, perfect venue for our wedding!! From start to finish the team at Dodford were just amazing. They were so easy to get hold of and no question was too stupid. They were so thorough and we felt in excellent hands.

On the day we literally wanted for nothing and felt like royalty! It ran so smoothly and the venue looked absolutely stunning. We had SO many compliments. Jenkinsons the caterers did an incredible job – the food was outstanding. We also used the ceremony barn as a crèche and it worked really well.

We genuinely couldn’t recommend Dodford more highly and are so grateful to their wonderful team.

We booked Dodford Manor in Feb 2024 after we viewed the space. It was the only venue we viewed, but instantly fell in love with the character and variety of spaces the venue had to offer. The free corkage also really appealed to us as a great way for us to bring our own drinks at a good cost.

From start to end, the team were amazing, helping us with the planning of the day and making sure we had a great array of suppliers we could work with. The live band was a huge part of our day, and Dodford have a great mixture of acts on their supplier list.

On the day of the wedding, the groomsmen arrived at the venue to help with set up, to see that our amazing event manager, Kayleigh, had every single aspect of the day in hand and sorted. She sorted all table settings, decor, and stationery. Everything! Nothing was too much to ask of her and the Dodford team. The day ran impeccably well, with everything being on time and everything we asked for being sorted. Our drinks were served chilled, on time and were always around. It’s easy for venues that offer free corkage to try and limit you from drinking your own drink. Not here! There were constantly beers being topped up, wine bottles replaced, and Aperol spritz being taken round. Cannot fault them!

The team packed all of our bits away and ready for us to collect the next morning. We are very aware Dodford is a busy venue and wanted to make sure we wasn’t just “another wedding” but at no point was that the case. We felt like we were the one and only wedding and genuinely could not ask for more!

Married March 2025

Our wedding isn’t until 2026, but we are so happy we have booked Dodford Manor due to the beautiful venue and fantastic communication! I’ve found that every email feels so personable and friendly despite the venue holding many weddings a month and having many couples to deal with. Every query (to which there have been a few!) is so promptly responded to, despite our wedding being so far away; this is really special especially as you’re trusting a venue with your big day! I’m sure there will be lots more positives after planning meetings, tasting events and the wedding!

Me and my now wife got married here, and I have to say… the place is beautiful, the staff are amazing, friendly and professional, and go above and beyond for their couples. Jessica, our wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing, really helped make sure everything went seamlessly, and made sure we were both happy and comfortable. There’s no words or ratings that describe how fantastic this venue and the staff are, but anyone looking for a venue, please consider this place, you will not be disappointed.

We had the absolute best day of our lives getting married at Dodford Manor. Having explored numerous venues during our search, Dodford Manor stood out in every way. Initially, their no corkage policy caught our attention, but over time, it became clear that Dodford is exceptional far beyond just that.

From their transparent pricing (no hidden charges for fairy lights!), to accepting credit card payments, to their lightning-fast email responses, everything about their service is designed to make your planning as smooth as possible. Their meticulous pre-planning and support on the big day itself are unmatched. Truly, I feel so lucky to have chosen them!

A special mention to Kayleigh, our phenomenal coordinator. She was an absolute dream, going above and beyond at every turn—even chasing after me when I almost left all our presents behind in a post-wedding haze! She anticipated my needs even when I was too overwhelmed to articulate them, making me feel so supported throughout. Honestly, any of the coordinators would be amazing. Over the two years of planning, every email we sent was met with warmth and helpfulness from the entire team.

Huge thanks to Jess and Simon for helping us unpack our mountain of decorations and drinks, ensuring everything fit perfectly despite the overflow. And to Hannah, who conducted our wedding meeting with such care and enthusiasm. The whole team clearly loves what they do, and that passion shines through in every detail.

I won’t even get started on Jenkinsons (the in-house caterers), as they deserve a review of their own. Just know you’re in the best hands, and you’ll feel like royalty on your big day!

If you’re considering booking Dodford Manor, do it—you will never regret it. If I could give 1,000 stars, I would! We’d choose them again in a heartbeat.

The best venue!

We had the best experience as they are all such an attentive team. From our first booking to view the venue until picking up our items after the big day we were so well looked after, no question too small and emails replied to promptly (even during evening and weekends!) Our wedding coordinator on the day was amazing, she ensured the day ran smoothly (they clearly have a good system!) and I fully recommend Dodford Manor to any future couples!

Best venue ever!

I can not recommend this venue enough! Dodford Manor is absolutely stunning. We knew as soon as we went to view that it was the venue for us. The grounds are beautiful and there is so much space. The staff make this venue even better. They are so helpful and support with everything from recommendations to the set up of the day they really do go above and beyond. The catering is amazing. Our guests couldn’t believe how good the food was. Everything about this venue is incredible.

From the moment we walked into Dodford Manor, we were in love! It was the first venue we visited and instantly knew we did not need to search any further.

Driving into the venue was like driving through a painting with sheep milling across the road and pulling up in front of the stunning barns. The interior of the barns was as beautiful as the outside, and every member of staff we have had the pleasure of speaking to is truly fantastic. No query is too small and is answered very quickly with helpful advice along the way. We know; over the two years of planning, we sent quite a few emails for information.

On the day Lauren and Hannah were incredible, from understanding the vision we had for our setup and executing it perfectly, to supporting and advising us throughout the set up stage in the morning and allowing Sarah and her bridal party to get ready with no disruption whilst being on hand if any of them needed anything. The day went so smoothly with the staff working as a perfectly oiled machine, even when some of our guests could not make it at the last minute, and we asked to remove a table for dinner moments before entering.

Jenkinsons (the dedicated caterers) were equally as incredible from Megan helping us build the perfect menu, and helping ensure we could have a dish that was not on their menu selections, the catering manager and the team on the day served our guests with a meal we still have guests rave about six months later! Every course was cooked to perfection and served so smoothly.
If you have any doubts about using Dodford Manor, dismiss them, we would recommend the venue and people every day of the week.

A perfect experience!

We knew Dodford would be the perfect place for us to get married the moment we saw the venue. The service was at the highest levels of excellence even during this pandemic. They were in constant contact, keeping us up to date with the ever changing guidance, and were very accommodating to any requirements we had, even two days before the wedding.

The day ran like clockwork, making us and our guests feel comfortable and very welcome. Many guests commenting is was the best wedding they’ve ever been to.

We would highly recommend Dodford Manor to any couple looking to get married in a barn. Perfect setting, amazing staff and perfect experience from start to end.
