We had the best time ever at the wedding! Thank you so much for your amazing wedding planning skills. You were always there to guide us, and your planning and execution skills are simply incredible. Thanks for making us feel welcomed and relaxed all the way through. Your hard work shone through on the day as everything went smoothly, and the wedding looked fabulous.

Thanks for liaising so effectively with the rest of the De Vere team, who had a very good understanding of what we wanted, and they were wonderful, too! The Friday evening buffet went well, as did all aspects of the wedding.

Thanks so much for our presents. Thilini loved the bottle of Prosecco, and I loved the magnetic travel chess set! Very thoughtful of you.

Thanks again, Louise, for all your help. You have been so amazing, and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better wedding executive! See you in a year for our anniversary visit, if not before.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you, Vanessa and the team for giving us the perfect wedding day. It’s definitely a day we will remember and memories to cherish.
Everything went amazingly on the day.

All of the team were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. I also have to mention the food as that was amazing! I loved the meal, and everyone said how nice it was. My dad spoke to Vanessa and gave compliments regarding the beef as he works in the meat industry and said it was lovely and cooked perfectly. I also loved the chocolate and raspberry tarts (canapes) so please pass on a special thank you to the chef.

As we mentioned on Sunday, Spacebar was great, and as you recommended them, I would just like to mention how good they were.

Our wedding was incredible and could not have been done without our wedding coordinator, Louise! We immediately loved the venue, with its stunning grounds and beautiful rooms! We were praying for an outdoor wedding, but sadly, the British weather team were brilliant, supporting us in making the way, making a decision and moving us inside to make the ceremony gorgeous. All the staff were charming and super helpful on the day. My husband and I sat the day after and said we could not have asked for any more from the team there, and we had the best day!

We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for everything you did to make our wedding day so special. From the very beginning of the planning process, you went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Your attention to detail, patience, and willingness to accommodate all our requests made the entire experience as stress-free as possible and so enjoyable for us and our friends and family.

Louise, we can’t thank you enough for your exceptional coordination. You truly made us feel like nothing was too much to ask, and your professionalism and warmth meant so much to us. The team on the day was simply fantastic, and every aspect of the venue was perfect.

A special thanks to Olga for her brilliant on-the-day coordination, ensuring everything ran smoothly. We’d also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Sophie for her great support and to Domingo, who made us feel like VIPs the entire weekend—nothing was ever too much trouble for him. There are so many others whose names we did not catch, but we were generally so impressed and overwhelmed with the whole team that made our stay so special.

We couldn’t have asked for more, and we are so grateful to everyone at Wokefield Estate for being a part of our big day.

We also can’t wait to return in the near future.

Andy and I would like to thank you and your amazing team for giving us the best day of our lives. The wedding was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The venue is just incredible, and our guests had many compliments on how much they loved the day.

And what a wonderful surprise it was to return to our beautiful honeymoon suite at the end of the evening and see all the decorations and the personalised robes. That was just the cherry on top of the wedding cake and so thoughtful of you.

You were a dream to work with and so amazing at your job. The day wouldn’t have been possible without you. Thank you again for giving us the best day ever. We will definitely be back to stay in the future to celebrate our anniversary.

Your guidance and patience were so appreciated and you were such a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process! Everyone loved the venue and how accommodating you and your whole team were. Married August 2024

What an incredible weekend we had. I can’t believe it’s been a month already. From the Friday night dinner with family to the final song early Sunday morning, we couldn’t have asked any more of the staff at Wakefield; you all made our day perfect. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and polite. No request was ever too much, everything was done efficiently and to the best quality, with a smile on a face.

Thank you for being so accommodating to all of our ideas, we really felt like we were listened to during planning sessions, and every question came back with an answer, even when we first mentioned the 7ft pool table! We really felt like we were in safe hands, which is so important as you get closer to the day. So thank you for keeping this control freak calm!

We need to give a big shoutout to Vanessa, she’s a credit to Wokefield. You can tell that she loves her job by the amount of care and attention she gives to everything asked of her. Even the little things like letting Nicole borrow her glasses cleaner and making sure she had some of the cheese taken up to our room!

A lot of our guests even mentioned how incredible she was at her job, including those who work heavily in events and hospitality. People like her are what make days like ours the success it was, we owe a lot to her and the hours she put in over the weekend. Please pass on our sincere gratitude.

We’d also like to pass on our thanks to Ivan, his customer service and help all weekend was also paramount to the success. He never walked past anyone without mentioning them by name, that level of care and service are the types of things you remember. He made everyone feel so welcome and looked after and added to the overall wonderful feel of the day.

The barman, Jordan, was also a standout member of staff; his positivity, charm and wit did not go unnoticed by many of our guests.

So a massive thank you to you Louise, and all of your colleagues; we’re so pleased we celebrated our special day at Wokefield and already can’t wait to return again soon.

Thank you for everything you did leading up to the wedding, we really appreciate it.

The day went to perfection, Marriam, Vanessa, Olga, Ivan and Domingo were amazing and made everything go like clockwork. They were all so kind and thoughtful and made me feel very special on the day and that means a lot. The attention to detail was unbelievable; when we walked back into the room at the end of the day, the swan towels on the bed, the balloon and teddy on the bed, the cake in the room, the bottle of non-alcoholic drink, etc. was a nice touch.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day. I wasn’t as nervous as ~I thought I would be. Mick was!

Can I start by saying that from the moment you took over our wedding planning, a huge weight was lifted off of our shoulders. You have been phenomenal, and we both felt reassured and confident that you would ensure the day would run smoothly and that it did. What made you so entirely different was that you were always enthusiastic to hear of our plans and details and always had a smile on your face during any interaction we had with you. It made all the difference to feel that our coordinator genuinely cared that the day was as perfect as we imagined. In the evening, when we opened the gifts you had given us, we were so emotional at the details that had gone into the gifts. A gift for the baby on the way, a personalised car for Archer, a Lego set for Albie and a lovely gift box for Jack and I. You are very kind, Louise and all of your special touches throughout are what made our day. You filled us with confidence, and you didn’t fail! So, thank you once again; you are an absolute superstar.

Regarding the other staff, they all went above and beyond to get everything perfect. And especially (is it Lorenszo?) who could not have been more helpful during our setup, even bringing out his measuring tape and offering some assistance when we struggled with our photo booth. Vanessa was also excellent, very kind and could not have been more helpful either. We are genuinely overwhelmed by your kindness.

The hotel itself was immaculate – we hadn’t stopped hearing how beautiful the grounds and hotel were to our guests. Our honeymoon suite was gorgeous, and we had a lovely stay and a delicious breakfast the following day. We made no mistake booking our wedding at De Vere Wokefield Estate.

We want to say a huge thank you to Tasha and the team at the Mansion House, Wokefield Estate. They exceeded our expectations and made us feel like royalty during the wedding.

We visited the Mansion House for an initial meeting with Tasha, where we were warmly welcomed. She answered all of our questions, and throughout the process, she quickly responded to queries via email. Tasha and the wedding events team are so kind, helpful and approachable. I felt like a burden at times with the amount of emails I’d send, but I never once was made to feel like I was asking too much or pestering them! After this meeting, we visited Wokefield for one of their wedding open days; Tasha recognised and welcomed us; it was a very personal service.

The day before our wedding, we visited Wokefield to set up the terrace suite. The front-of-house team helped us carry everything, hung our signs, and brought us plenty of beverages until we were finished decorating. Even the maintenance team got involved in helping us hang our sign!

Our wedding day was perfect, and the team went above and beyond. When we arrived at Wokefield, we were greeted by Tasha and the front-of-house team (along with some champagne!) The waiting team were brilliant- professional, polite and keen to help us and our guests. The food was excellent; it was beautifully presented and delicious!

We were overwhelmed with our room. Our luggage, which we took the day prior, was waiting for us- we didn’t need to move anything on the day. The size, cleanliness and amenities were amazing. There were rose petals on the bed, balloons and personalised luxury dressing gowns with our new name and wedding date embroidered on them (this was a fantastic gift, and we were so grateful for this additional touch; we still wear them now!). When we went to the room at the night’s end, we were surprised that the team had given us even more gifts! We had some wedding cake and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco at the end of the night.

The team put all our decorations (flowers, vases, cake stand, lights- everything!) into a room locked overnight until we removed everything the following day. They also kept the leftover wedding cake in their fridge for us to take home and enjoy later!

The service we received from the entire team at The Mansion House, Wokefield Estate, is of the highest quality we’ve ever received. We cannot wait to visit again for our complimentary first-anniversary stay.

Thank you so much for all your help and efforts before and during the wedding. You have been amazing. Everyone has complimented the organisation and friendliness of the hotel and its staff. Grateful to you all. We’ll be back soon, and it’ll always be a really special place for us and our families.

Thank you for our amazing wedding at Wokefield on Saturday. Everything went smoothly from when I arrived on Friday evening to when we left on Sunday morning. All the staff involved were amazing and looked after us; we felt like royalty.

Thank you for all the planning you did for us over the last year, guiding us through the process carefully and helpfully.

We were very pleased with DJ Spacebar, Josh; he was brilliant and had us all dancing all night long. The dance floor was always full, even when the evening food came out. We would highly recommend him to others.

The toastmaster Simon was amazing and organised us and our guests well. Initially, we didn’t think we needed a toastmaster; we could not have done it without Simon. He was just great. Many of our guests said how good he was.

Thank you again for all your hard work, and please also pass on our thanks to the rest of the staff. We would recommend Wokefield Estate to others.

Thank you for all your help throughout the wedding process. You have been amazing and accommodating. I had a great time, and so did everyone else. This was achievable with your prompt responses and always being there to answer all my questions. Overall, our experience with the venue and the team is one to remember. The reception staff were also exceptionally polite and helpful.
