Cowdray House is an outstanding venue, available for exclusive-use hire throughout the year. Located in the West Sussex countryside near Midhurst, its’ 16,500 acres offer total privacy and yet is easily accessible from London and airports.

Whether you are looking to host an intimate gathering for 15 guests or a larger reception for up to 150, you will find a truly spectacular venue coupled with all the warmth of a family home at Cowdray House.
Buck Hall with its vaulted ceiling, arched minstrels gallery and splendid fireplace takes centre stage at the heart of the house, and is ideally suited for the wedding breakfast. Drinks receptions can be held on the manicured croquet lawn with far reaching views of the South Downs or in two elegant reception rooms – the Library and Drawing Room – which open onto the front terrace. Buck Hall, the wood-panelled Dining Room and the Summer Pavilion are all licensed for civil ceremonies.
The house has 22 lavish bedrooms – each individually designed with opulent bathrooms with stunning views across the 110-acres of private gardens and parkland. Additional accommodation is available at the Lodge, which can accommodate 16 guests, and four pretty holiday cottages that sleep 13.
Guests at Cowdray can enjoy polo, golf, clay pigeon shooting, fly fishing and other country pursuits all of which are available on the extensive Estate. There is also the opportunity to learn to play polo during the summer months at the Polo Academy or enjoy the fabulous leisure facilities at the House including the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, billiards room, tennis court, cricket pitch, croquet lawn and even your own private bowling alley.
