Standing proud on the outskirts of Wandsworth Common since 1852, the County Arms is a perfect blend of pub charm with a twist of modern style. This grand Victorian building steeped in history welcomes you with open fires and a sun filled garden.

The Vibe

Acting as a focus for Weddings at The County is the large Belvedere at the rear of the building leading out onto their leafy garden.

Leading off their Belvedere is the Victoria Lounge, ideal for dancing and live music. At The County, they can cater your entire wedding celebration under one roof thanks to their Wedding Licence.

With a dedicated Events Planner, they are ready to help you plan the perfect day.

We wanted a relaxed but fancy setting for our wedding – with a large-ish number of guests thrown in. The County Arms delivered in a big way. First off it’s great to be able to have your ceremony, food and reception in one place. That was a massive selling point in our view. The Events team were organised and very helpful in the run up. Then on the day itself, they and the team worked tirelessly to make it a great event. Our guests had a brilliant time – the ceremony was great, the food was delicious and the party was very memorable.

As soon as I saw the Beldevere room at the County Arms, I knew it would be perfect as our wedding reception. The pub is a really lovely looking and the room is beautifully designed with a private area in the garden. The team were brilliant at helping to organise the day by replying quickly to emails and making suggestions. Every other staff member we met at the pub were friendly too. Guests commented on how nice the food was and how relaxed and fun the day was. It was a perfect day for us.

Service was great and we could tell the team worked really hard. The Belvedere looked beautiful. It was very spacious and having the patio meant we could make the most of the lovey sunshine. The best part had to be the food – all our guests commented on how delicious both the canapés, BBQ menu and the evening snacks were. The servings were very generous and everyone felt very well fed. We would 100% recommend the County Arms for anyone wanting a relaxed and intimate wedding party. They made our day very special and we’re extremely grateful.
