We honestly don’t even know where to begin, because words will never be enough to express the gratitude we have for Nicole and the entire team at De Vere Cotswold Water Park. From the moment Nicole came on board, she completely transformed the experience of planning our big day. I’m normally quite the stress head, but Nicole’s calm, reassuring “it’s sorted” approach left me so relaxed that my family and new husband were convinced I’d had a personality transplant! She made everything feel effortless, and that meant we could just enjoy every single moment.

On the day itself, the staff were beyond wonderful—so kind, attentive, and helpful. From the reception team at check-in/out to the event staff throughout the wedding, we’ve had endless compliments from our guests about how fantastic everyone was.

The head chef was also such a joy to meet. He came to see us the night before to run through everything and answer any questions, which was such a thoughtful touch. And the food—well, what can we say? Wedding meals often have a bit of a reputation, but not here. We didn’t hear a single bad word, only raving reviews. Everyone said how delicious it was, and we couldn’t agree more.

Nearly every guest told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, which is the highest compliment we could hope for. To Nicole and the team: thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the most amazing experience of our lives. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and so much more.

Our incredible wedding day was hosted at DeVere Cotswold Water Park in April 2023. My husband and I cannot thank this stunning venue enough for how our wedding day was run. From the staff at check-in, Becky (our event coordinator), the casual staff who assisted on the day, and Chloe (our operations manager), every person we encountered had a smile on their face and were super helpful.

Our wedding day, from start to finish, was just perfect. We would not change anything, and we are so grateful to everyone involved in this.

We stayed for dinner the day after the wedding, and cannot fault the staff in the restaurant either! The food was also incredible.
Our suite was the perfect setting for me to get ready in the morning and wind down once the day was over. The views are breathtaking. If we could, we’d do our day all over again. And indeed, choose the same venue.

You planned everything so well for us; honestly, it was perfect, and I couldn’t fault a thing. The room and the way everything was set up was amazing. Chloe, wow, she was good and kicked us up the butt when we needed to be quicker and stick to the schedule. Everyone loved the food and how beautiful it all was. The bar was easy to get served in once we had two people, which was good. It is a beautiful venue to get married, and you did an excellent job helping us from day one. So, a massive thank you, as I know, I’ve asked SO many questions. But honestly, you smashed it!

I just wanted to send a massive thank you to you and the team for an absolutely amazing day. The attention to detail and the attentiveness of the staff were unbelievably amazing. The entire day ran so smooth, and that’s all you and the team. Every guest couldn’t believe how amazing the venue and the food were. There is a very popular wedding venue in Wales, and guests commented on how this venue has blown that one out of the water! Your staff ensured everything was perfect, from checking in with the guest to offering to help lift my dress. The professionalism and politeness were amazing! I cannot wait to return, and many guests are reporting they would like to return also! When we first booked and found out the previous coordinator was leaving, I won’t lie and say I was anxious however meeting you the first time I just knew everything would be perfect! Your calm and relaxing persona reassured me so much that on the morning of the wedding, your organisation ensured the day flowed perfectly!

Thank you, and the rest of the team, for your support and help on our wedding day and all the planning meetings beforehand. It was lovely to have you there on the day and see everything come together from our initial meeting. You were on hand from beginning to end to answer questions, source information, and liaise with our vendors. We can’t thank you enough for helping our day run smoothly. The venue was stunning, and the beautiful weather we were blessed with made it even more magical. All the front-of-house staff who were on shift on Friday and Saturday were very professional and highly accommodating.

Georgia and Chloe, for all their support in the lead-up to and on the wedding day, for their outstanding effort and dedication to ensure our wedding ran smoothly. Also, a big thank you to Georgia for bringing us breakfast the morning after -it was appreciated and just what we needed.

Becky, thank you for being on this journey with us from start to finish. From our first meeting to the big day, you were on hand every step of the way, and you were always very open to our needs. Your personality and friendly nature always shone through. We are so grateful and appreciative of the time and effort you put into helping us plan and execute the day. You went above and beyond for us and our guests before and during the weekend, which exemplified your professionalism.

We both wish you great success and blessings in making people’s events perfect and unique, just as you did for us. We look forward to returning to De Vere for many years.

Thank you once again. Saturday was amazing, and we couldn’t have asked for anything else. Regarding feedback, we are still trying to think of something we would want to change. Please pass our massive thanks to all staff involved in our special day(s). The wedding on the 24th was perfect. I don’t like fuss, but I can honestly say I loved every moment of this day. You were brilliant, and the hotel staff were amazing and so accommodating.

It was faultless from the initial contact with you to menu tasting, service, and support during our stay. Our guests enjoyed their stay at the De Vere and will be visiting again.
