Cornish Tipi Weddings

A big thankyou to everyone at Cornish Tipis for a wonderful day on the occasion of my son’s wedding on Tues 23rd July. All your staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. A special thanks to Josh for going out of his way to get the taxi directed onto site to get the old folks home! Kim is a fantastic photographer and worked really hard. The whole day worked out perfectly, so thank you again.

Alex and I cannot thank you enough for giving us the most wonderful weekend in all the world. Each and every member of the team were so kind and helpful and always right on hand and made us feel like no strange request was too big or too strange! All the guests had the most wonderful time and loved the Tipis, the cafe and the lake! We have been inundated with love for your venue! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

We were supposed to get married in 2020. Then covid hit and we ended up having to move our wedding three times. We had lots of friends in the same boat and Cornish Tipis were hands down the BEST most flexible most understanding and helpful venue out of them all. You honestly couldn’t get a more helpful, professional, friendly, diverse venue. Our wedding was so well managed and everything went to plan without either of us having to worry and no micromanaging!!! The venue is unbelievably beautiful way more beautiful than any photo can caption – our wedding felt like a movie honestly, stunning. We are so grateful we found this venue we cannot fault it or the staff and we wish we could relive it over and over again. Do not hesitate to go and visit or get it booked you honestly won’t regret it. Thank you cornish tipis we are so grateful.

We want to thank all of you guys SO much for everything over the last 18 months and the run up to the wedding. You have been so helpful and lovely and we couldn’t have done it without you! Will was absolutely amazing on the day we set up and the day of the wedding, so calming to have around and no question was an issue with him. The day was just perfect, more perfect than we could have imagined and we are so sad its over! But unlike other venues, we can come back and stay with you and we absolutely plan to next summer. Everyone loved the venue, it’s just so beautiful and we were so lucky with the weather! Thank you all so much again and can’t wait to see you all soon!

So many of our guests said it was the best wedding ever! Due to the setting. Getting married by the Lake was magical.

Staff were so adaptable to some last minute changes on the day due to the weather. The general zen vibe on site automatically makes any anxious bride calm, chill and happy!

CTW communicated really great throughout our planning months. We all definitely be going back for future anniversaries.

Married July 2024

We just want to say a massive thank you for helping us to have the wedding we wished for. From day one, the team were so helpful with their advice and knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. The venue is absolutely beautiful, it’s impossible not to fall in love with it when you see it. We knew from day one that this was this only place where we could imagine ourselves getting married. Thank you for everything on the day as well especially blowing up our air bed and driving us down to our Tipi and for just generally being lovely people to have around on our day. We will never forget it, hopefully see you soon. We will be back for our first year anniversary.

We have just returned from our honeymoon and wanted to message to say a huge thank you for everything that you and the team did on the run up and during our wedding on 27th August. Everything ran so smoothly and everyone was really helpful on the day. It was the most magical day and we could not have chosen a more perfect venue, it was just stunning!

I would just like to say thank you for such an amazing weekend. All your staff were friendly fun and helpful and helped make our wedding the wonderful day it was. All our guests had so much fun, from bonding around fires the evening before to playing together in the lake. All the little, but amazing things your staff did like finding my daughters sentimental ring from under the dance floor, driving my wedding cake to different locations because as we all know I am a little away with the fairies, and flower arranging sunflowers at the very last minute on the boat when I realised I hadn’t done it!! All the other small kindnesses that make the world a better place. Best wishes and thanks to all.

We almost have no words!

We got married Saturday (29th June) at Cornish Tipis – and just wow! Where to begin?!

The staff were incredible – so friendly, warm, lovely and welcoming. They were so organised on the day and thought of every little detail. We had so many comments on how “chilled” we were as a couple – and we have to say, this is all because of the amazing staff on hand on the day. Everything went so smoothly, and if we ever had a last-minute “Oh gosh, did we think of this?”, you bet they were one step ahead! Everyone was super chilled out as well which suited the vibe of our wedding perfectly, nothing felt like a stress at all.

The venue itself is super unique and just breathtakingly beautiful! We invited guests to join us at the onsite café for pizza and drinks the night before (something which we would definitely recommend) and enjoying a beer surrounded by loved ones as the sun set and the fairy lights turned was such a special way to start the weekend. On the day, peacocks and bunny rabbits roamed the grounds (are you kidding, so cool!!), and the forest was such a luscious green. We chose to have our ceremony by the lake (again, I would definitely recommend it), and it was so special as a bride to be able to enter the ceremony by boat with my parents. So many guests said that they had never seen anything like it before – and were unlikely to go to a wedding like this again. We also rowed away on the “Just Married” boat, which again just felt so special and made for the coolest photos!

The rest of the day was just spectacular – we partied into the night, then a few of us stayed up toasting marshmallows and drinking wine by the fire pit before retiring to our tipis. We swam off our hangovers in the lake the next morning, along with a coffee and breakfast roll from the café There are just no words to describe this venue and all of its loveliness. It exceeded our expectations completely, and we just wish we could relive this day again and again!

Let this be your sign to stop searching for venues – as you cannot possibly find a better one that Cornish Tipis! Thank you for all for truly the best day of our lives!

Married June 2024

We had such an amazing Wedding with Cornish Tipis: They bent over backwards to make our day as special and as hassle free as it could be, and we couldn’t have been happier with the result. They were communicative over email, happy to help as much as they could on the day and, most importantly, friendly to us and our guests: thank you so much Cornish Tipis from Bridie and Dyfan.

We had the best day of our lives at Cornish Tipis. It was the best decision we could have made picking this magical spot to get married and we wouldn’t have changed a thing! It has been a pleasure working with your wonderful team to overcome postponing, adapting to restrictions and then keeping us dry through torrential downpours! Thank you so much for making our dreams come true. We can’t recommend your site and the team that make it all happen enough.

We wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you and all of your team at Cornish Tipi. Our Wedding day was honestly incredible, it couldn’t have gone better and we wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you to all of you for all of your patience, advice and guidance! Not to mention all of your help on the day. It made such a difference having such a calm and collected Cornish Tipi crew to help with everything. We love your venue so much and it was totally right for us. All of our guests had such a great time and loved the atmosphere. We honestly cannot fault the great set up and the strong team that you have at Cornish Tipi, it’s the perfect combination of efficiency and precision with a calm and collected approach. Honestly thank you for realising our wedding dreams. We will absolutely be back to stay in a tipi or a shepherds hut and swim in the lake in warmer weather.

The venue is so naturally beautiful and the ceremony area is perfect for anyone that is looking for that emersive outdoor romantic setting. The staff couldn’t be more friendly on the day, treating us with kindness and positivity and the staff that helped in the planning stages were very responsive and gave detailed information throughout. It felt like a festival camping on site with all of your best mates and family and everyone had the most fantastic time. There is excellent provision for the wet weather too with a good sized marquee.

From the moment we met Kim to walk around Cornish Tipis, we knew it was the venue for us. It is just beautiful, and all of the staff are so kind and helpful. The two years waiting for our big day (or small day, as there were only 14 of us!) flew by, and the communication and advice from the wedding team throughout was spot on. We had a truly wonderful and magical day, despite the rain, and the staff were so helpful when we changed our evening plans. May is such a special time at Cornish Tipis, with the luscious green trees and ferns and hot pink wildflowers. Cannot wait to visit for our anniversaries.

Married May 2024

We had the most perfect wedding at Cornish Tipis. The location itself is completely unique; the lake and woodlands are absolutely magical and the open marquee allows you to create your own individual vision for your special day. The staff at the site were on hand to support us from our very first visit and they all ensured that we had everything we wanted on the day. Our guests were able to spend the whole weekend on the site and we created wonderful memories which included a big pre-wedding BBQ, swimming and fishing on the lake, and camping in the amazing Tipis. We will never forget this special place and we will visit for many years to come.

Thank you so much for helping to make our day the best day of our lives. When viewing wedding venues, Cornish Tipis was initially a wild card as we were set on getting married on the beach. However, after viewing Cornish Tipi Weddings with Kim, we instantly fell in love with the venue and knew we couldn’t get married anywhere else- it was the perfect venue for a fairy tale, midsummer night’s dream wedding in the woods crossed with a festival. It’s the perfect blend of working with experts who have clearly done so many weddings before, but the DIY nature of the venue means that you can really add your own touch to the decoration, and the day can be completely what you want it to be.

You’re in full control of the order of the events and how you want your wedding to be. It was really important to us that everything happened in one place for our wedding so that guests could turn up on Friday and not have to leave if they didn’t want to until the Sunday morning after the wedding. There was a yellow weather warning for rain for our wedding, and it was still incredible! Kim liaised with all of our suppliers to make sure they were fully informed and told us everything we had to bring for the venue- along with plenty of organisation tips and tricks. I can’t recommend this venue more highly, to be honest! We both got ready on site, got married by the lake, had some reception drinks at the wedding pavilion, then headed up the marquee for our food provided by Kerra’s catering and a ceilidh by the Rosevilles, who were brilliant. The staff at Cornish Tipi couldn’t have done more for us and were so great at helping things flow on the day. Thank you so much again.

We couldn’t have dreamt up a more perfect and beautiful wedding venue. The team were outstanding and made everything so special and put us at ease as soon as we arrived. Everything they did, all the little details, were so perfect. We riskily didn’t visit the location prior to our wedding day, and to be truly honest, I’m glad we didn’t. Being left speechless by our marriage spot, which was the lake, added to the magic of the day. The staff were also really helpful with helping us with anything we needed.

We truly, truly couldn’t have had a more perfect day. Thank you so much to everyone.
