Copdock Hall is a romantic barn venue surrounded by scenic fields and its own vineyard. It creates a romantic and intimate setting for weddings. The versatile Elizabethan barn features underfloor heating, offering a warm and elegant space to make your own.

Ceremony

Copdock Hall offers a fabulous variety of wedding ceremony options. For civil ceremonies or celebrant-led weddings, you can say “I do” inside the beautiful Elizabethan Barn, with its characterful wooden beams and exposed bricks. This looks particularly intimate with fairy lights.

You can have your ceremony in the great outdoors, with the barn and countryside as your backdrop. The venue is excited to introduce a brand new ceremony area for 2025, with the idyllic vineyard behind it.

For those who want a church wedding, St Peter’s Church is just steps away from the venue and is a beautiful setting for your ceremony. The venue team would be delighted to introduce you to the vicar should you wish to arrange this.

Reception

After your ceremony, enjoy your drinks reception in the venue’s pretty courtyard. This space oozes Italian Rivera vibes, complete with olive trees and a cosy firepit. Once you have formally welcomed your guests to the celebrations, step into the picturesque barn for a truly memorable wedding breakfast. This rustic yet elegant space offers the perfect setting for your first meal as a married couple.

As the day transitions into the evening, venture outside onto the scenic lawn for open-air drinks. The barn’s interior transforms into a vibrant dance floor, inviting you and your guests to celebrate into the night.

Accommodation

After your wedding day, relax in the luxurious Farmhouse at Copdock Hall. Lovingly renovated, this charming retreat offers eight ensuite rooms for up to 17 guests, elegant furnishings, and all the comforts of home. Enjoy tea and coffee in the open-plan kitchen to share stories and memories of your special day.

For the newlyweds, the honeymoon suite within the Farmhouse offers a luxurious retreat with breathtaking garden views and a private entrance. This ground-floor haven provides the perfect sanctuary for your first night as a married couple, allowing you to enjoy privacy while remaining close to your guests.

Food & Drink

Copdock Hall is introducing a talented in-house catering team at the venue from 2025, giving you an unforgettable culinary experience. It is such a stunning venue and the new onsite accommodation gives it everything you could possibly need. The team are second to none and made the day run so smoothly. My husband and I got married at Copdock Hall in October 2021. The service we have received from Ian, Diane and all the Copdock Hall staff has been outstanding since we booked our big day way back in June 2018.

It’s been an incredibly difficult time for the wedding industry, despite the enormous amount of pressure and stress they were inevitably under; every time we spoke to them, they were very approachable, sounded positive and were so quick to answer any questions we had.

So many of our guests commented on the beauty of the venue; it really is one of the most stunning buildings we’ve ever seen, and it was the perfect setting for our rustic autumn wedding. We had our ceremony and reception in the barn, but the tactical use of curtains meant it always felt intimate, and the amazing grounds/second barn meant we had some wonderful photos.

Thank you so much to all at Copdock Hall for ensuring the best day of our lives went so smoothly and for all your help over the past three and a bit years. You are faultless, and we are so grateful for you all.

We got married in September 2023 and had our wedding ceremony at the church next to Copdock Hall, followed by our reception at Copdock Hall. It was a perfect day. My bridesmaids and I got ready at Copdock Hall in the morning, which was convenient for the short walk to the church. We had two guests who were wheelchair users, and Copdock Hall was really the only traditional/barn-style venue we could find that was fully accessible to these guests – it was important to us that there weren’t any areas that they would not be able to access.

Copdock Hall accommodated some of our more unusual requests – they were happy for our dog to be present all day (we sent him home before the food appeared, though!), and they allowed us to have four alpacas visit during the drinks reception. It was great that they were so open to accommodating us and allowing us to have our day exactly as we wanted. They were also happy for us to bring our own giant LOVE letters for decor and configure the tables exactly as we wanted them. Being able to get into the venue from the day before to set up and to come back the next day to clear up was really helpful, too.

Overall, Copdock Hall made it very easy and stress-free to have our wedding reception with them. They were also able to offer advice on things like the timings for the day. Thank you!
