Chilli Barn

Most memorable day – Everything just ran like clockwork! The staff always had a smile on their face and went above and beyond. I think for me the memorable part was pulling up in the camper van, knowing everyone I know and love was inside the barn waiting and Lee was just behind the door! I got so emotional. We also really loved the yurt and it was definitely well used by everyone.

Best thing about Chilli Barn – the whole setting, rural, rustic and peaceful, the barn itself is just stunning for photos and the surrounding area. Having our wedding at the Chilli Barn definitely exceeded our expectations!

Words to the chef – guests commented that the food was amazing! Especially the pies! There was just something for everyone. Although some guests had everything! So curry, rice, pie, mash and gravy all on one plate! Lee said the mash was lovely too!! One of my guests was gluten and wheat free and he really enjoyed the food also.

Experience with the wedding coordinator – as mentioned above, you’ve always been calm, organised, approachable and friendly. Everything ran like clockwork, couldn’t have faulted anything! The staff on the day were just amazing, nothing seemed like too much! Thanks again to them.

The experience was fantastic throughout. All the staff were amazing and everything ran like clockwork. We didn’t need to worry about anything, it was all taken care of. Can’t praise everyone enough. Guests all loved the location and venue in general, lots of questions about how we found the place! Amazing food – everyone raved about it!

Genuinely the best day of our lives. The most perfect venue surrounded by our family and friends. Outstanding venue for a ceremony and amazing evening reception. Natalie and the Chilli Barn team offer an endless amount of support and we could not have asked for a more perfect setting for the best day of our lives. We seriously couldn’t have asked for a better day. Rosie and I will cherish our day forever and a big part of that is down to how you guys made us feel so at ease with everything. Can we do it again please?

We wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for everything that you did for us last Saturday – we had the most wonderful wedding day and we are so grateful to everyone at Chilli Barn. Firstly, thank you Natalie for your support in planning the day. Your guidance and calmness amidst all the madness of pandemic planning was very welcome indeed! It was brilliant to hear your ideas throughout the process, and you were so approachable and so patient with all our questions. We also loved how much flexibility you gave us around the day which allowed us to make our wedding our own – when we first viewed the Chilli Barn we were hugely excited by the prospect of such a personalised experience and had struggled to find that elsewhere, so it really meant a lot to us. Furthermore, the fact that you coordinated with all the suppliers made our lives very easy indeed which was very much appreciated.

A huge thank you also needs to go to the team who were there on the day, particularly Lucy who was an absolute star and made the whole day run so smoothly. Everything was taken care of in the most professional way, we didn’t have to worry about a thing, and the staff were absolutely brilliant and so personable. The table service worked brilliantly, nobody was ever short of a drink and our guests commented on how impeccable the service was throughout the day. The tiny touches made such a difference as well, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, so we were able to just sit back and enjoy our day knowing that we were in the safest of hands.

Finally we also wanted to thank the chef for the food, which was magnificent. Everything was beautifully presented and utterly delicious, and we loved seeing people’s faces light up when it arrived at the table! Some of our guests had also admitted they were dubious about the vegetarian menu, but later came up to us specifically to say how much they had enjoyed it so I think that speaks volumes!

We never dreamed that our wedding day could be so wonderful and there was absolutely nothing that could have been improved – it was completely perfect. Thank you so, so much for giving us such an exceptional wedding day!

We honestly had the best day ever! Thank you so much to the whole team for our perfect day. The Chilli Barn was the perfect venue – it provided a beautiful blank canvas to make our own. On the day itself, it felt like the team became family members in terms of how much they cared about every little detail. Nothing was too much trouble or silly – they took care of everything and the day ran perfectly. Everyone complimented the venue and the food was delicious.

Working with Lucy was a dream. I also want to say thank you for the genuine compassion from Richard and the team when we had to postpone our wedding. We are so glad we chose such a lovely family business. Our experience working with you was seamless – you thought of things we would have overlooked, organised everything impeccably and were incredibly responsive. Again, it felt like working with family in terms of how much care went into it – we never felt like ‘just another wedding’ even though we know how busy it is right now!
