The Setting
High above the Dordogne river, sat amongst the early morning mist and the trees sits Château Spectaculaire.
Every bit what its name suggests, the venue is nestled in the most incredible location in the heart of the Dordogne valley. The accommodation is wonderfully luxurious while the courtyard and gardens are sublime. A real gem with river views out of every window. This is as authentic as South-West France comes.
One hour and 20 minutes drive from Bergerac airport and a stone’s throw from some of France’s prettiest villages and castles, there will be plenty for your guests to see and do… if they can bring themselves to leave, that is.
The Vibe
Romantic, whimsical and luxurious, the château has been painstakingly renovated and brought back to its former glory with beautiful interiors, antiques and artwork.
Although maintaining its original charm, the entire château has been rewired, re-plumbed and an en-suite bathroom added to every suite allowing for a 5-star comfort in a period environment – it even has air conditioning!
