Set within 33 acres of Somerset parkland, Brympton House is a Grade I country estate offering complete exclusivity; never shared, never divided.
Just two hours and fifteen minutes from London, it offers a rare balance of accessibility and escape. The house, gardens and terraces become entirely yours, allowing the celebration to unfold at its own pace.
With architecture spanning centuries and grounds designed for gathering, Brympton feels less like a venue and more like a private residence; one you inhabit fully, if only for a few days.
Ceremonies at Brympton are shaped by both architecture and landscape.
The medieval Chapel offers candlelit intimacy, while St Andrew’s Church brings tradition and scale. Outdoors, the Walled Garden and Temple of the Four Winds provide open-air settings framed by stone, sky and surrounding parkland.
Each space carries its own atmosphere, from enclosed and reverent to expansive and light-filled, allowing couples to choose a setting that reflects the tone of their day.
As the ceremony concludes, the estate opens into celebration.
Drinks flow across the South Terrace and within the Great Hall, before guests move seamlessly into dining, whether within the Ballroom, Salon or outdoors beneath the Somerset sky.
As evening falls, the Party Barn becomes the focus; a dedicated space for music, dancing and late-night celebration. Doors open to the night, guests drift between spaces, and the energy builds naturally into the hours beyond.
With 32 bedrooms sleeping up to 75 guests, Brympton is designed for residence, not turnover.
Friends and family remain within the estate, extending the celebration beyond a single day. Mornings are unhurried, evenings linger, and the sense of occasion continues well after the ceremony itself.
At the centre of it all sits The Brympton Honeymoon Suite, a private and considered space to retreat at the close of the day.
Food and drink at Brympton can be experienced in different ways, depending on your chosen collection.
From fully inclusive dining with carefully considered menus to complete flexibility where couples provide their own catering and drinks, the structure adapts to suit your vision.
For those seeking a more relaxed approach, corkage-free options are available in selected collections, allowing you to shape the experience while maintaining the estate’s atmosphere.
Brympton is a historic estate with a considered approach to sustainability.
A biomass boiler provides renewable heating across the house, while the estate’s organic garden supports seasonal, locally sourced produce where possible.
The aim is simple: to care for the estate in a way that allows it to endure, while continuing to host celebrations within it.
Surrounded by countryside, villages and historic market towns, the area offers space to explore, stay and extend your time beyond the wedding itself.
Located in Somerset and just over two hours from London, Brympton is easily accessible by road and rail, yet feels entirely removed from the pace of the city.
Brympton house is a fabulous setting with lots of room for guests to mingle. The styling team worked very hard and the flower arrangements were stunning. The wedding day was perfect, well organised and brilliant. The evening food was superb!
Brympton House is a stunning house with beautiful, well-maintained gardens. The service and food was great. The décor was beautiful and flawless. The evening party in The Stables was great fun! Beautiful venue in the Countryside!
We married in August at this stunning venue. You have run of the elegant staterooms for the day. If the weather is good, or even reasonable, the surrounding grounds are breathtaking as a setting and a great space for drinks and games. Many of our guests have told us that ours was the best wedding they have ever been too. A wonderful venue.
House: Serene setting. Picturesque. Efficient service. Romantic feel. Styling: Well presented with good attention to detail. Thoughtful. Food: Excellent! Evening Reception: Intimate, relaxed and ideal for the fun bit!!
Amazing Venue. Seamless check-in. Gorgeous food and friendly staff. The wedding décor was like a fairy tale. I loved the Stables and the old Chapel. It was brilliant and I loved it.
We can’t compliment the team or the venue enough. From our initial viewing in January 19, Jess, Ellie and the team were extremely helpful. They listened to exactly what we wanted and worked with us to make it happen. The space itself is both beautiful and unique. We loved how each space was distinct and you have toilets, dance floor, a bar and seating area. It worked well for our guests (and my mum definitely enjoyed the comfy sofas). We decided on Brympton House primarily due to our numbers and wanting to have different areas to use for our day. As soon as you walk into the house (actually as soon as you drive down the drive!) you will see just how magical it is. The booking process itself was pretty easy and they were accommodating to what we wanted, making things bespoke to reflect what we asked for. They do have a recommended suppliers but we used our own suppliers too. During the lead up to our big day, the team were just exceptional and made the process so easy. We knew we were in good hands which helped us relax and enjoy it all. If you’re looking for a perfect wedding venue, then look no further. If we were to plan our wedding again, there’s no doubt it would be at Brympton House.
Brympton felt completely different to anywhere else we viewed. It’s not just beautiful, it has a natural flow that allows the whole celebration to unfold effortlessly. By the evening, it felt less like a wedding and more like the most incredible house party with all our favourite people.

Brympton house is an amazing setting with amazing grounds and the most beautiful ceremony room we have ever seen. The styling was fabulous with lots of beautiful flowers and candles; the food was delicious and the day was perfect!
From the moment we arrived, I knew my daughter had chosen somewhere special. The setting is extraordinary, but what really stood out was how calm and well-managed everything felt. We were able to relax completely and just enjoy the experience.

Great welcome as we arrived. I loved the ceremony space and lawn games. The styling of the house (which is very beautiful) was lovely with lots of candles. Loved the fire pits in the evening!
Every part of the estate has its own atmosphere, which made the whole weekend feel layered and considered. Our guests are still talking about it. It felt intimate, elegant and completely unique.

We had our wedding at Brympton earlier this month and it was the most perfect, stress free day. I could go on and on about how wonderful the staff are. Especially as someone who has worked in the service industry before, it meant a lot to have people on hand who I could trust on the day. While I could plan all I wanted beforehand, I knew I didn’t want to spend my day as a wedding planner and really wanted to enjoy it as a bride. I and my husband give a huge thank you to Brympton for being the glue that held our whole wedding together. Your staff are impeccable. Jennie, especially, went above and beyond to help me and was there through the entire process. Seriously an angel! Throughout the wedding planning process it can be stressful, but she had all the answers and was so polite and calm. Exactly what I needed! As for the venue, it speaks for itself. All of my guests’ jaws dropped at the wedding venue and grounds. The brilliant trees, views, and the inside of the house. My now husband hadn’t seen the inside of the venue before the wedding, but I knew when I went to see it the first time that he would love it, and he and everyone did. Thank you for giving us a dream wedding, one for the books, one that we can truly look back upon and smile ear-to-ear at forever.
We married here in May 2019. Our day was everything that we had dreamt of and more. I wanted to arrange a last-minute surprise for my other half and have our beloved fur baby attend the ceremony. Natalie was really supportive and helped me make it happen. It was the best decision and made for some great pictures too. Our day itself was perfect. The teams are clearly very knowledgeable, experienced and work well together. We got married at 2pm and partied until 3am, so it was a long day. The team worked so hard all day, and were friendly and warm to all of our guests which we are extremely grateful for.
Excellent location for a wedding. Great staff and service, the food 5*, highly recommended this venue.
