Braxted Park offers a choice of breathtaking ceremony options: the remarkable Orangery, complete with dramatic Roman-inspired décor and views over the lawns, or the charming summer house, set in the idyllic Lower Walled Knott Garden, which is ideal for saying ‘I do’ al fresco. There is even a quaint church within the estate just a short stroll from the impressive house which is perfect for a religious ceremony.

The bright and luxurious bridal changing room is a new addition to this delightful Essex wedding venue and provides the ideal spot to prepare yourself with your bridesmaids before your ceremony. The stylish space offers plenty of room to get ready, a private bathroom and shower, and a number of long mirrors for putting the finishing touches to your look. Best of all, it’s just a few steps through the Lantern Room to the Orangery from this calm and relaxing setting.

Bask in your picturesque surroundings with a drinks reception in the beautiful Walled Garden, mingling with guests around tranquil water features and blooming flower beds. The Pavilion, also located with the gardens, is a grand and contemporary setting for your wedding breakfast and evening reception. It’s an incredibly versatile space, capable of accommodating wedding parties of all sizes, and comes fully equipped with a dancefloor, well-stocked bar and state-of-the-art sound and lighting system to make the perfect place to celebrate in style.

Exceptional food and service of the highest order are at the heart of every wedding at Braxted Park, making sure that your special day is bespoke to you. Braxted Park Kitchen, the in-house team, offers a number of exciting catering options from fine dining style dishes to stone-baked pizzas and grazing tables. Vegetarians and vegans also have a delicious plant-based menu to choose from.

Completing this spectacular wedding venue is the romantic Garden Cottage. The wonderful red brick building has been recently restyled, boasting two luxurious bedrooms, a spacious lounge and an elegant décor to help you relax. There’s even a secluded garden with incredible views which is yours to enjoy as you wish. Plenty of space means that the Garden Cottage is perfect for the groomsmen to prepare before the ceremony, and the Prosecco-filled fridge will certainly go down a treat as they’re getting ready. There are a further 12 en-suite bedrooms available for family and friends, located in the former stables in a peaceful part of the estate.
