Botleys Mansion

Thank you to everyone at Harper Weddings for making our wedding such an amazing day. We got married at Botleys Mansion in December 2023 and can’t stop reminiscing about so many of the magical moments.

The venue was absolutely perfect, and Botleys will always have a special place in our hearts. So many of our guests commented on what a beautiful building it is!

A huge shout out to Dean, Maxine and Isabella – the compassion, flexibility and understanding they provided after one of our guests had a health scare was second to none and really helped to ensure the rest of our day ran smoothly. We were also impressed with the responsiveness and support Ashley and Megan provided during the planning process, putting up with our endless questions! The online planner really does go a long way in helping to ensure a stress-free wedding day.

We just wanted to take a moment to thank you so much for our wedding day on Thursday. The whole day ran so smoothly, it really was a dream come true. Maddie and Anne have been fantastic throughout the planning process. Nothing was too much trouble, including all the last minute changes after the planner was locked. Thank you so much. To the lovely ladies who met me in the reception and were constantly checking every detail was perfect, as a bride could not have asked for anything more. And a special mention to Guy. You met us when we first viewed Botleys Mansion and were the last person I spoke to on the wedding day. You are a true gentleman and the day could not have gone as it did without you. We cannot thank you enough. You are a credit to a Botleys mansion. The food and wine were fantastic and all bar and waiting staff were great. All of our guests were blown away by the venue and day.

We recently had our wedding at Botleys and we cannot recommend the team and venue enough. Our day was absolutely beautiful, Maddie was amazing throughout the planning stages and during a stressful time helped so much! The food, drinks and staff on the day were unbelievable. Our guests were so impressed with everything. Again, thank you all so much for giving us the best day!

Botleys Mansion was the first venue we visited, and from the moment we arrived, we knew it was the one. Dean, the House Manager, gave us a tour, and we were absolutely captivated by the venue, the team, and the incredible atmosphere. We still went on to view other venues afterwards, but we knew Botleys was where we wanted to get married and quickly paid the deposit to secure our October date.

One of the standout features for me as a bride was The Harper Planner. Having a single, well-organized platform to coordinate everything with the venue made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. Throughout the planning process, Botley’s staff were on hand to answer any of our questions. We even visited the venue three more times with our parents and suppliers and for the tasting evening – what a special and memorable night that was, possibly my favourite part of wedding planning! We also had several check-in Zoom calls with the venue where they answered all of our questions and were so supportive and reassuring throughout. Special mention to the Botleys catering team for the incredible wedding breakfast and canapés. Our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten!

On our wedding day, we were introduced to Marie, our Day Coordinator, and I can’t thank her enough for her outstanding support. She ensured everything ran flawlessly, offered invaluable advice (like not scrunching up our faces for the confetti shot), made sure we ate, kept glasses of fizz at the ready, and regularly checked in to make sure we were relaxed and happy. Botleys also took care of all the setup and packing up of the items we brought, executing everything perfectly. This allowed us to focus entirely on enjoying the day without a worry.

I cannot recommend Botleys Mansion enough. We planned our wedding in 8 months, and they truly gave us the wedding of our dreams.

Eddie and I couldn’t have wished for a more special day, and your amazing team made it all possible. From the moment we arrived, Sarah’s attentiveness and calming presence set the perfect tone, and on the big day, Yasmin was exceptional. The efficiency of the staff was phenomenal. Over the past 18 months, we’ve worked with various members of your team, but a special thanks to Katie (and more recently Holly) for their prompt and thoughtful responses to our emails. Katie has been particularly patient and kind throughout our planning, making our experience with Harper Weddings truly memorable.

Firstly Jamie and I would just like to say that we had the most amazing day on Saturday – it was 100% worth the wait. Thank you for all your help in the lead up to the event.

We’ve just returned from our mini-moon and are finally able to take in everything that’s happened over the past few weeks. Our wedding was the most perfect day, it could not have gone better and we are so so happy. We’re still very much in a bubble – Botleys was the absolute perfect place to have had our wedding. We will remember it for the rest of our lives, and I know we’ll visit again in the future and have such fond, special memories. We’ve had so many comments from guests about how wonderful they thought the venue was. I wanted to say a massive thank you to you for everything you did for us and also to the rest of the Harper’s team, especially Sarah, who was brilliant. We know dry hires are different for you guys and we’re so thankful you let us do our day in a way that made both sides of our families so happy. We were well and truly a fusion wedding, and it worked so well, so thank you.

What can we say about the best day of our lives? Better than we ever could have imagined. Other than thank you, Botleys! Without a doubt, the most perfect venue, and we could not have asked for more. From the incredible food to the impeccable service to the flawlessly beautiful and clean venue, we were blown away by how special the venue and day were, and so were our guests. We honestly could not recommend Botleys more.

We had the most amazing time! Lucy, Tom, Betty and Yasmin were amazing on the day – being quietly on the sidelines in case we needed anything and providing advice throughout – not to mention having an Aperol to sip in between shots and having a cloth to dust us off so our outfits looked pristine in the photos! Wizard was well taken care of; he thoroughly enjoyed his ‘Paw-star Martini and gourmet chicken dinner’! It was a seamless day – one we, and our guests, will never forget.

Dear Harper Team, Kevin and I just want to say a huge thank you to all the team at Botleys for making our day so special from the moment we arrived to when we left. We could not have asked for such a professional well-run day. Many of our guests commented on the smooth running, the delicious food, the attentive service and the pleasant staff who could not do enough for us. Special mention should go to Ann for taking calls and sorting out last minute changes, Dan for ensuring a smooth-running day and keeping us on track and to Hayley for her organisation of the evening.

The day was truly magical, and all family and friends enjoyed themselves immensely. We also want to commend the Harper team for all their help and support throughout the complications of the COVID pandemic and our initial postponement through to our special day.

I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to you both, Katie and Holly, as well as the entire team, for making our wedding day so special. Everything went well, and the care and attention to detail from all the staff, especially during the planning stages, truly made the day unforgettable for us and our guests, including the morning after. A super heartfelt thank you from Stu and me and our families for helping us make such a wonderful and magical day come through.

At no point in planning did we think our wedding would be described as magical, but we’ve kept hearing that from our guest’s feedback. The mansion was truly spectacular, especially at sunset, and the service from the team was top-notch to match.

We had such a relaxed (yes, I know, even with my directing, I didn’t feel stressed one bit cause we were in safe hands) and enjoyable day.

Harry and I would like to take this time to personally thank you all for making our wedding day so perfect and everything we could have dreamt of. It was genuinely like a fairy tale wedding for us.

We were always worried that the day could not live up to our originally planned wedding but everyone made sure the day could not be compared. It was everything we could and would have wished for. All we could say after was let’s do it all again because it just went too quickly.

Dan, Rachel and Emma really went above and beyond to ensure the day flowed and that we were truly never without. They thought about everything and really made the day special for us. The food was delicious and was a highlight for everyone, we are still receiving messages about how delicious the food was and how it was the best people have ever had at any wedding before! The timings, turn around of the rooms, the set up, drinks were all fantastic and we are both very grateful to you all. We thank you so much again. Maddie and Ann, your support with the planning of the day and everything we discussed was put out on the day.

We would specifically like to thank Dan for the work he did with us on the food menu; we were really pleased with the results following our feedback after the tasting event.
