Nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside, Bore Place is the ultimate rural retreat. Situated in the heart of the Kent Downs, just outside the perfectly preserved Tudor village of Chiddingstone, this is a 500-acre estate with glorious gardens and an organic dairy farm.
It’s a beautiful spot with views across the valley, woods full of wildlife and a feeling of being away from it all yet only a short drive from the A21 and M25 with train links to London at nearby Sevenoaks.
Bore Place is a rustic venue with a Jacobean manor house at its heart as well as a large barn, glorious gardens and overnight accommodation for 50.
Couples and their guests get exclusive hire of the estate for the whole weekend and they actively encourage you to use the house and grounds as your own to make your day just how you want. The team will be on-hand throughout your planning and will support you on the day to ensure you can relax and enjoy yourselves.
They have a low corkage fee and couples can choose their own suppliers freely, or they can arrange a bar. They also offer food prepared by their on-site chef using organic ingredients and vegetables from their market garden – or of course you can choose your own outside caterers.
