Bingham Riverhouse

Gary and I just want to say a big thank you to Bethan and the team at the Bingham who made our day so special. The whole day went by so seamlessly and seemingly effortlessly, due to the careful preparations and the professional approach of everyone there. All my guests said the food was truly the loveliest they had had at a wedding and that there was so much choice and plenty of it! The reception had been decorated beautifully too and it was just delightful to be there and enjoy our celebration at such a glamorous venue.

The venue sells itself for its fantastic position on the river with a garden. But its the support that wins you over. For us it was important that the food would be good as one of us is a chef. We were asked to a tasting choosing 2 meals from each of the 3 courses. From there we took our choice for the big day. We also were invited to taste wine. We were not disappointed on the day the food was excellent and brilliantly served by the team. From the word go Angela, the wedding organiser, was extremely helpful. We confirmed 6 months ahead and we were lead through what we needed to think about – music, games, numbers, table layout, flowers etc. We had plenty of time to change our minds and deadlines were highlighted well in advance. We were lucky for mid-September that the weather was brilliant but I am sure it would have been great anyhow. We had the ceremony at the Bingham as well, so the whole day was there. Everyone was so helpful and guided us through our special day. I would genuinely not have changed anything. It surpassed all expectations and will always be with us. It may not be the cheapest option but you definitely get value for money and support from the word go. Thank you to everyone at the Bingham for making our wedding day so special and memorable.

Where to start! The incredible service, the delicious food, the amazing Chloe and the rest of the wedding/events coordinating team! We live locally and had been to the Bingham a few times for birthdays and special occasions so we always knew that the service and food would be great. When we checked in the day before our wedding we were told they were here to exceed our expectations and that they did! The morning of the wedding my bridesmaids and I went down to check if everything was set up and they had honestly done everything – not one thing was left for us to do, so we got to go back up to our room which had the most amazing view for a relaxed morning with breakfast in bed! The staff kept everyone’s drinks topped up throughout the reception, and the canapés were delicious which were all enjoyed on the heated and covered terrace looking out over the Thames. The master of ceremonies was great, he kept us informed about everything throughout the day giving us a heads up on timings for speeches, first dance etc. leaving us to enjoy the day without having to think about anything. Then there was the meal which so many of our guests have said was the BEST wedding food they have ever had! We had guests that are chefs, there were guests that have eaten all over the world and guests that have eaten in some of the best restaurants in London, so that was so amazing to hear! The beef melted in your mouth, and the sticky toffee pudding was out of this world! We had bacon sandwiches later in the evening which were always going to be a winner! At the end of the night the staff let us know where everything would be in the morning (which they packed away into the boxes we delivered everything in), we said goodbye to our guests and headed up to our room which the Bingham had covered in rose petals, lit candles and delivered all of our presents. Waking up as husband and wife in such a comfy bed in a beautiful room, we felt truly relaxed and enjoyed breakfast in bed looking over the Thames. We were overwhelmed they literally thought about everything! Best day ever. A huge thank you to everyone at the Bingham for exceeding our expectations which were already extremely high!
