Barnston Lodge is a beautiful 18th Century manor house with stunning grounds in the heart of the Essex countryside.
It’s surrounded by wildlife, fields and grazing horses. The extensive lawns stretch down to a beautiful lake, making a stunning backdrop for any photos.
Also included: a rare nineteenth century summer house known as the Brew House, which would’ve been used to make beer back in the day, Today, though, it’s a candlelit snug where guests can retire from the dance floor and cosy up around the large fire.
St Andrew’s church is a stone’s throw away from the venue. It’s a Norman church which provides the perfect country setting to get married in.
At Barnston Lodge, they offer their grounds exclusively to you for the entire weekend. This includes your very own wedding planner and access to ‘The Brew House’, a candlelit summer house complete with open fire.
