From the very moment we were greeted for a show round of the venue, we knew this was the right venue for our special day. Everything was just perfect: great food, great venue and great staff. Claire was amazing in supporting us up to and throughout the day. All the staff were great and a special mention to the bar staff, who were great fun and always smiling and having a good time with our guests. We had the best day ever! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue and everyone working there.
A lovely country house set in beautiful grounds. I was impressed by how they had made each room en-suite, albeit some were a tad cosy. We were there for the wedding food tasting, a superb selection of dishes and wines. I’ve never tasted Zinfandel before; being a Merlot drinker, this might be my new preference! As a wedding venue, this is superb. I can highly recommend it.
We booked our wedding a year in advance. During the discussion, Karen informed us they would sort everything and that we wouldn’t need to worry; Karen was absolutely right. We felt so welcomed when we booked a visit; the venue layout took our breath away, and we knew from that moment this was our place. Throughout the process, Ashton Lodge had been in contact with us, inviting us to opening days and food and drink testers, allowing us to visit the premises whenever there wasn’t a wedding on, and keeping in frequent contact via email. Claire, the wedding coordinator, made it so easy for us to relax.
Furthermore, we could put our customised footprint on the venue and make it our own; we can not appreciate that enough. Fast forward to the day we had the lovely Mia to guide us through the day; everything went perfectly from start to finish. If we could relive it again, we would do so in a heartbeat. All the staff were an absolute delight and so helpful.
Thank you so much for our special day.
I could not have wished for a better place to have our wedding. We were able to have the ceremony and the celebration in one place which is exactly what I wanted. The staff were amazing, thoughtful and nothing was too much. Karen went out of her way to help us chose our wines which was a big thing for us. The food was out of this world (the guests told us so!) They were always good at getting back to us with any questions or issues we had. On the day, Mel, and later on, Becky were at hand and were so helpful with absolutely everything and relaxed that I had nothing to worry about apart from enjoying my day. Ours was a winter wedding and although we couldn’t make use of the beautiful grounds, we still had an amazing time. Everyone kept saying what a beautiful venue it was. Thank you Ashton Lodge for making our day PERFECT!
Just attended my brother’s wedding here, the venue is unbelievably gorgeous. Staff went above and beyond to help all guests and meet the needs of everyone. Rooms were stunning and beds were a dream. Then waking up to a wonderful view of the country side was a little bit of heaven.
What a wonderful day we had. The venue is beautiful and newly refurbished. Claire was amazing on our day as were all of the staff. Nothing was to much for them. Thank you Claire, Karen and team.
We finally had our wedding at Ashton Lodge earlier this week after two lockdown postponements and it was everything we had hoped for and more! Our day was perfect and we were guided step by step through everything by Mel Rebecca and Claire. All of the staff were amazing and so attentive. The food on the day was just beautiful. The accommodation and breakfast next morning were also fantastic. All of our guests were so impressed and a great time was had by all. This was a particularly busy week for the venue but the transition between events was seamless and so well managed. I would highly recommend Ashton Lodge to any couples considering an exclusive country venue for their wedding. It has it all.
I would highly recommend Ashton Lodge Country House. It was everything we dreamed of and exceeded all our expectations. Our wedding was on 6th May, and from the very first viewing with Karen, we loved the venue and agreed it was the right one for us. The planning leading up to the day was brilliant, and all our questions were always answered. We loved the menu-tasting experience and meeting other couples getting married, too. On the day the bridal party got ready at the venue, Mia was the best wedding coordinator you could ever wish for. Mia was attentive throughout the day, and everything ran smoothly from morning until evening. All our guests commented on how lovely the venue was & how the food was fantastic. The accommodation is perfect for family and guests, and the breakfast was lovely. A big, big thank you to Karen, Claire and Mia for making our day so special. We will definitely be back for the tasting menus.
We had our wedding here on the 2nd of September, and it was the best day of our lives. From the moment we booked the venue two years before, we always felt at ease with the support we received from various staff members at Ashton Lodge, who instantly took the pressure off us.
Mia was the event manager on the big day, and we cannot thank her enough. She made the day run smoothly and was always available to answer questions. She was super friendly and did go above and beyond for us. Thank you so much, Mia; we couldn’t have done it without you!! We wish you all the success for your future!
The food was out of this world, and all the guests couldn’t stop saying how impressed they were with the venue.
