Set in the heart of St James’s, {10-11} Carlton House Terrace offers a rare opportunity to celebrate within a private Central London townhouse. Overlooking St James’s Park, The Mall and some of London’s most recognisable landmarks, the Grade II listed Georgian building places you at the centre of the capital while still feeling distinctly intimate.
Inside, classic period detail and refined interiors define the atmosphere. Light-filled rooms, elegant proportions and architectural character create a setting that feels both historic and personal, with spaces that transition naturally from quiet morning preparations to an evening celebration overlooking the city.
A choice of ceremony rooms allows couples to shape the day around their guest numbers and preferred atmosphere. The ornate Music Room in No. 11 and the Council Room in No. 10 both seat up to 80 guests, offering elegant surroundings for vows in the heart of London.
For larger celebrations, the Beatrice Webb Room and Gallery in No. 11 accommodates up to 125 guests, while the Library in No. 10 provides a more intimate setting for up to 40. Each space reflects the building’s Georgian character, creating a ceremony that feels refined, personal and distinctly London.
Following the ceremony, celebrations flow naturally through the townhouse’s elegant rooms. The variety of spaces allows couples to host drinks, dining, and evening festivities in a relaxed, personal way, while the central London location adds a sense of occasion throughout the day.
The venue’s versatility supports everything from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations, with interiors that adapt easily to different styles and themes.
Dining is provided by catering partner Searcys, who create seasonal menus tailored to each celebration. Couples can choose from formal seated dining or more relaxed catering styles, with options designed to suit both intimate occasions and larger gatherings.
From smaller celebrations of 10 guests to receptions of up to 100, the flexible approach allows the dining experience to reflect the tone of the day.

We were delighted to find Carlton House Terrace for our wedding; a simply stunning venue at a fantastic spot in the city center. Alex was absolutely fantastic right from the beginning; he was incredibly responsive, listened carefully to our plans for our wedding, and came up with great suggestions to make our wedding the best day of our lives. Also Stephanie was incredible in helping us to select the menu, drinks, and evening snacks. We sent tons of emails during wedding planning, but nothing was ever too much trouble for Alex and Stephanie. On the wedding day, the venue looked gorgeous, the service was great and everything went super smooth – it couldn’t have gone better! Not only we, but all our guests were amazed by the venue and the service provided. Thank you! Hopefully we can return one day for another occasion.

During your viewing, one of the venue coordinators will meet you to discuss your plans in more detail. The viewing will follow your guests' journey as they move through the venue on the day of your wedding, and you are free to take pictures and ask as many questions as you'd like.
If the spaces are available, the team will try and give you some time alone to walk through the venue - this is only sometimes appropriate as other bookings or staff may be setting up, so it may be unsafe to stay in the rooms.

{10-11} aims to provide you with a single point of contact from our wedding venue at your initial enquiry. They will stay with you during the booking process, throughout the planning and on the day of your wedding. There may be an occasion where this would be subject to change, for example, if one of the team is on leave or is unwell. Fortunately, the venue team work extremely closely with each other and our catering partners, making any contact change seamless!
Our dedicated catering partners, Searcys, have a team on-site at our London wedding venue throughout the year. Your venue coordinator will introduce you to the Catering Events Planner to discuss catering as early as the enquiry stage.
Searcys offer a seasonal menu which changes twice a year (Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter). They can also provide bespoke menu options and ask you to give suggestions on the style of food you are looking for.

External caterers can buy out the kitchens with exclusive hire of 10 and 11 Carlton House Terrace. This is a £2,000 + VAT fee and is in addition to the exclusive venue hire fee.
Approval of external caterers is subject to a successful meeting between the supplier and the venue after the venue/supplier provides the necessary documentation.
