Couples are welcome to come along, take their time and see the venue exactly as it is. The 17th-century, Grade II-listed farmhouse and barn have been thoughtfully brought up to date, with enduring character, quality in the details and a modern, design-led feel that never loses its warmth. Guests can wander at their own pace, picture the day unfolding and notice how the place makes Houchins Wedding Venue feel. The attentive Houchins team will be on hand throughout to show couples around, answer questions and talk through the day they have in mind.
Meet the people who take it all together
A wedding is a collaborative effort, so couples will meet more than the Houchins team. A host of local preferred suppliers will be there on the night, creative, professional and genuinely lovely to talk to. They’re people Houchins trusts to look after its couples, and they’ll be happy to chat through the details of the day, share ideas and help couples see what’s possible.
All four Houchins caterers will also be there, so couples can talk to each about menus, style and what they do best, and find the one that suits them. Milsoms will be serving delicious canapés on the night, giving guests a taste of what’s to come.

The evening is designed to be enjoyed as much as the planning. The bar will be open, with something cold and sparkling for guests to take around with them as they explore. Houchins evenings are relaxed, welcoming and light-hearted, with no pressure and no hard sell.
