Ellingham Hall

I first came to a wedding at Ellingham Hall when I was 14 years old, I’m now 28 and just had had my own wedding here last weekend. Ellingham Hall is the most magical venue, we couldn’t have chosen a better place to hold our wedding. We hired the hall and cottages for the full weekend and would highly recommend doing so, we were able to have all of our immediate family and friends on site. From the moment we arrived on the Friday, to when we left on Monday, everything ran smoothly thanks to the help from Wendy and Andrew. We have had so many compliments from our guests on how amazing the food was, it really was on another level, from canapés, wedding breakfast, evening bbq to full english served in the chapel the next morning. Ellingham Hall is a cut above the rest and I would definitely recommend it to anybody! Thank you for everything, we are so sad it’s all over!

We would like to thank all at Ellingham Hall for providing us with a magical venue with fantastic service for our wedding day. We had the privilege of spending two relaxing days at the venue with our family and friends. We loved that the Hall was exclusive to us and our guests which added to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The food throughout our stay was fantastic, with comments from our guests that the beef we choose for our main was the best beef they’d tasted! The grounds and the hall itself are stunning and attention to detail within each room is second to none. The staff were fantastic from our first visit to the venue and ensured that the day ran smoothly without the venue appearing overly staffed. A special mention to Andrew who was consistently supportive throughout our planning process and on the day itself. We can’t thank you enough for making our wedding day so perfect.

David and I would like to thank you all for giving us the most wonderful weekend of our lives. Everything was wonderful and I really can’t thank you enough for the effort you put in, to ensure that our special day was just spectacular. And it was, it was everything we had hoped for and more. We hired the Hall for the weekend which is something I would absolutely recommend doing. It was so beautiful to wake up with my husband after the wedding and have another day and night in the hall to take in the grounds and the surroundings and celebrate further with friends and family. Special mention to Wendy, Andrew and Connor for all that you did for us. Especially Wendy who I would personally like to thank. Wendy you’re just amazing and on the day nothing was too much for you. The energy and enthusiasm you put into your work is truely infectious and I felt so happy knowing you were our wedding planner and that you were there on the day ensuring everything went smoothly. All our guests remarked on how stunning and unique the venue is and we couldn’t agree more! All our guests loved their bedrooms and the bridal suites were stunning. It was really lovely to get ready in the Gothic Suite with my girls before the big day – I had 5 bridesmaids 2 flower girls, 2 page boys and there was so much room for everyone in the Gothic Suite, especially with the additional big dressing room. For anyone looking for somewhere truly special to tie the knot – look no further. Ellingham Hall is a magical venue and we now have the happiest memories to last us a lifetime. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Ellingham Hall is the perfect wedding venue! A simply stunning venue which made our day so special. From the moment we arrived on Saturday to checking out on Monday, the venue and staff managed to exceed our expectations. It was the most perfect weekend, one that we wish we could do all over again. The staff are exceptional, the food is exquisite and the venue itself is amazing! Thank you for making our day so perfect!

We had the most magical few days at Ellingham Hall for our wedding.

The venue is absolutely stunning and every single member of staff are incredible. From booking, to postponing (twice), to adapting to restrictions and to the day itself nothing can be faulted and we will always be eternally grateful. We have had so many comments from family and friends about how beautiful Ellingham is, how friendly and attentive the staff are and how incredible the food was! We would like to give a special mention to Wendy, David, Rachel, Claudia and Sophie who we could not have done this without.

I honestly can’t recommend the venue highly enough.

Wendy, the Wedding and Events Manager, was helpful, organised and delightful throughout the whole process. The staff were attentive and considerate and nothing was too much trouble, and they did their jobs without having too intrusive a presence. The catering is exemplary with fantastic food served through the day and every whim, no matter how awkward, catered for.

The venue itself is simply stunning with each bedroom decorated in a tasteful yet eclectic style and wedding chapel and other communal areas are breathtaking. It’s also great that there’s a well-supplied kitchen for use and a brilliant games area for the kids (of all ages!) Our wedding exceeded our expectations in every way and we had the most amazing time.

Ellingham Hall played a huge role in making our day all we dreamed of and more.

I could not have wished for a better venue to celebrate the happiest day of my life. It is pure class from start to finish helped along by the fantastic staff who work there. Thank you to Wendy for all of your help and a special thank you to Andrew who, with a smile on his face, calmly directed an emotional groom through a once in a lifetime day. When we started looking for our venue those 3 years ago, never did we believe we’d find somewhere this perfect! Not only did we fall in love with the venue, but also Wendy! She’s been an absolute rock through the years, made us feel so special and made the whole thing perfect! From day one we’ve been treat like absolute Kings, or Queens in our case! Every single member of the team nailed it. The three days have been out of this world! If we could, I’d do it all again!
