I spent a ridiculous amount of time making my own polka dot wrapping paper for our wedding party gifts.
Our Order of Service had polka dot tags, again homemade and stamped by my hair hand.
Oh and the boy wore a polka dot tie.
I didn’t make that. Zara did.
So yes, I’m a little bit dotty about today’s Coco Colour Palette!
For me this inspiration plays perfectly into the Modern Vintage hand and so I’ve created a simple, pretty palette of blush, neutrals and inky navy – all with a vintage twist.
Imagine wearing a divine full length polka dot number, with a dash of grown up elegance, such as this Valentino delight below…
Have guests throw little circles of confetti in matching colours as you emerge from the Ceremony!
Let your boy join in the dotty fashion by sporting a polka dot tie, bow tie or even socks! Chambray shirts with a subtle spot can also be a very cool alternative under a sharp mod suit…
Have fun with your bridal accessories – a sixties tulle veil with scattered spots, little polka dot booties or maybe even something for your groom to enjoy…? Say Oooh la la with a delicate polka dot garter.
I believe cakes should be a bold centrepiece, whilst I love the softness of this subtle tablescape in simple neutrals and how pretty are these poms…?
Oh and for flowers… Why not choose one of my fave blooms – the Anemone. With it’s inky circular core it makes the perfect partner at a polka dot parade.

So are you seeing spots…?
Do you love the idea of throwing some pattern and texture into your scheme…?
Are you going subtle or bold…?
I’d of course love to know!
