It is situated 7 miles east of Maidstone, Junction 8 of the M20 motorway, just 1 hour from London and 30 minutes from the Channel Tunnel and Channel Ports.

The Vibe

Designed for romance, a Castle wedding like no other

From wedding breakfasts to exchanging your vows and celebrating into the evening with family and friends, the team at Leeds Castle are on-hand to help make planning your wedding as magical and memorable an experience as the big day itself. Their award-winning venues can be tailored to create your dream day exactly how you imagined it.

They have a selection of bespoke packages and venue hire options for your Kentish wedding day.

Ceremonies at Leeds Castle

Leeds Castle has several breathtaking venues and locations where you can say ‘I Do’ from the Castle Dining Room to the Croquet Lawn. The choice of indoor and outdoor options provides you with larger and more intimate ceremony options.

Your Castle Wedding

The Castle is adorned with glamorous and magnificent state rooms, providing the perfect setting to host your dream wedding day. After you’ve officially tied the knot, you will celebrate with your wedding party, pose for those everlasting photographs, and sip your celebration drink.

Your banquet-style wedding breakfast will be served in the largest room in the Castle, the Grand Salon. This room was historically used by Lady Baillie and her esteemed guests of the silver screen, society’s finest and leading influencers, as they partied the night away at lavish weekend parties in the 1930s.]

The Salon features breathtaking views across the scenic moat onto the flourishing parklands and a grand 16th-century French Caen stone fireplace, making for a stunning backdrop to your celebrations.

After the toasts, laughs and happy tears, you will head to the opulent 1930s Drawing Rooms before continuing the wedding festivities, dancing the night away in the Castle Celebrations Room. As the party slows down and carriages arrive for guests, retire to your luxurious Castle bedroom for the night.

Your Maiden’s Tower Wedding

The Maiden’s Tower Wedding venue is an elegant, exclusive-use location adjacent to the Castle. This 16th-century stone building, previously used for weekend house parties in the 1930s, is now a glamorous self-contained venue perfect for wedding ceremonies, evening celebrations, and overnight accommodation. Rumour has it that the Maiden’s Tower was used by Katherine of Aragon’s Maid of Honours during her wedding to King Henry VIII.

The venue has two wedding rooms with French doors leading onto a charming private garden and five en-suite guest rooms. All are beautifully decorated in period style with a contemporary twist and offer views across the moat to the golf course and surrounding parkland.

Your Battel Hall Wedding

Built in the early 14th century as a medieval manor, the Battel Hall Wedding venue is a delicate and rare example of local Kentish architecture of the period.

This large and comfortable manor house, nestled within the tranquil fields of Leeds Castle grounds, is full of character and boasts distinctive historical features, ideal for an enchanting, intimate wedding. Say ‘I do’ in the beautiful ceremony room, featuring rich wood panelling, before you move on into the drawing room or library, both wonderfully traditional rooms for entertaining guests and creating a unique atmosphere for your memorable wedding. Doors from the library lead onto extensive gardens and woodland area, a treat in all seasons.

Your Fairfax Barn Wedding Reception

The Fairfax, a 17th-century Kentish timber-framed barn, is the idyllic choice for rustic wedding receptions. Those getting married in the Castle or Maiden’s Tower can celebrate with larger numbers in the evening. Offering spectacular views of the Castle, your wedding party and guests will gather outside on the large terrace. It is ideal for celebrating on a fine seasonal evening.

The Fairfax Barn wedding reception package provides exclusive use of the venue for 100+ guests plus 15 bedrooms in the Stable Courtyard, based on double occupancy, including breakfast.

Your Marquee Wedding

Their exceptional marquee sites offer the perfect choice for large wedding parties of up to 500 guests. Bring all your friends and family together in the most glamorous of settings. The Cedar Lawn provides a beautiful setting overlooking the glamorous Castle and moat. Marvel over the impressive views of the wider estate set in beautiful Kentish countryside. It’s a place that inspires every occasion.
