Heathy Lea provides exclusive use of the venue and accommodation for three nights, from Friday through Monday, as part of the wedding package. The venue acts as a blank canvas, allowing couples to bring their wedding dreams to life, whether envisioning an intimate gathering or a grand affair. Trusted suppliers can provide everything from stunning marquees to exquisite floral arrangements, ensuring each wedding vision becomes a reality. The celebrations can continue with a Sunday stroll to the nearby Chatsworth House, just a scenic 30-minute walk away.
Ceremony
The grounds and the beautiful summerhouse are licensed and offer an idyllic setting for marriages and civil ceremonies. The event can be held outdoors on the picturesque lawns or within the charming summerhouse. Couples can personalize their ceremony setting by choosing a tipi or marquee.
Reception
Following the ceremony, guests are invited to mingle and sip champagne while taking in the breathtaking views of the parkland. The reception can then proceed across the lush lawns to the chosen marquee or tipi, where an unforgettable evening of dining, toasting, and dancing under the stars awaits.
Accommodation
Heathy Lea offers on-site accommodation for up to 24 guests, featuring four beautifully appointed self-catering cottages and five charming Shepherd’s Huts. This setup allows for an extended stay, where guests can enjoy activities such as brunch, leisurely walks through Chatsworth’s picturesque surroundings, or exploring nearby towns.

Heathy Lea is conveniently located within easy reach of Grindleford, a charming town just a 10-minute drive away, and the larger station at Chesterfield, which is 20 minutes away. This accessibility ensures a hassle-free arrival for guests.
The venue is accessible for all guests, including those with mobility impairments and wheelchair users, with a mix of grass, gravel, and flagstone terrain. The top lawn offers step-free access, while the bottom lawn has scenic 12-step access.
