The Vibe
As you traverse the impressive entrance drive, the majestic manor house, bathed in light, welcomes you with open arms. Surrounded by immaculate grounds, a spacious car park, and five self-catering cottages on-site, Addington Palace offers an array of ten stately rooms to cater to your every need on your special day. The Palace’s heart, the Great Hall, enchants with its opulent high ceilings, a masterpiece by the renowned Scottish architect, Norman Shaw. A splendid French chandelier, handpicked by Shaw from a French chateau, graces the centre of this magnificent space.
Beyond the Great Hall, a world of timeless luxury unfolds with rooms adorned in the finest marble fireplaces, intricate mouldings, and delicate plasterwork, each a work of art. On a sunlit day, the South Lawn beckons, offering a perfect backdrop for mingling and photo opportunities, where deer and parakeets gracefully inhabit the countryside surroundings. The Winter Garden, reminiscent of a chapel, is ideal for civil and religious ceremonies.
Upstairs, two stunning rooms await for preparation and precious pre-ceremony photos for the wedding parties. The Bridal Suite, bathed in ivory and drenched in natural light, exudes elegance. At the same time, the Wellington Room’s gallery red walls offer a striking backdrop for the groom and groomsmen to share a moment of camaraderie.
Addington Palace ensures accessibility, with wheelchair access to the ground floor, accessible bathrooms, and convenient baby changing facilities, assuring the comfort and care of all your cherished guests.
