Kids at weddings… Thoughts…?

Is it a resounding yes or are there some of you out there who need a little more convincing…?

For some Brides cute flower girls and pageboys are an absolute must, but for others the idea may be causing a little headache. Whilst some venues are very much geared up to hosting children at weddings (hello playroom at Hengrave Hall!) what are the options on offer to entertain the little people…?

Well folks, how about having a separate disco exclusively for your junior guests…?

Matt Maurice Event Music has announced the launch of Junior Discotheque Couture (JDC), an innovative new Junior DJ service that promises the ultimate entertainment experience for the younger generation.

Hosted by professionally trained and super cute resident Junior DJs Matilda and Maisy, the JDC disco experience will bring the best party tunes to the coolest kids dance floors. For an additional element of fun or where sound restrictions may be in place, JDC offers the option of a silent disco. Oh and all JDC DJs are accompanied by a chaperone.

Commenting on the launch, Junior Discotheque’s founder Lotte Travers said: “After many months in the pipeline, we’re very excited to be launching Junior Discotheque Couture. We receive hundreds of enquiries every year for discos for the Under 16s and previously haven’t been able to accommodate them. Now with our resident Junior DJs fully trained and immersed in the music for this generation, we’re able to bring the same standard of entertainment to the children’s market.”

I for one am sold. Matilda & Maisy know exactly how to keep their peers entertained, leaving the adults to quaff champagne and indulge in some serious Dad-dancing. Let’s face it, no kid wants to be around that!
