The Setting
The Manor is a beautifully restored Grade II Jacobean building steeped in history, with the original manor on this site recorded in the Doomsday Book. The current Manor dates back to 1450; evidence of cellars, attics, priest holes and all the human history that suggests, is everywhere. Now a grand family home they offer exclusive-use weddings with a warmth, comfort and quality that welcomes guests throughout their stay.
Allington Village itself is located on the fringe of the vale of Belvoir and only 7.4 miles from Grantham and its mainline railway (1 hr 10 minutes to London King’s Cross). Less than 2 miles from the A1 and A52 and around 24 miles from Nottingham and Lincoln.
The Vibe
With six luxury bedrooms in the house and a further six available within the village (at a additional cost) Allington is the perfect place to host your immediate family and friends.
Their exclusive weekend hire packages are perfect for your family and friends to enjoy each other’s company for the duration of the wedding celebrations. With exclusive hire comes endless choice of food options and suppliers. The team acknowledge that each wedding is bespoke and are happy to assist with wedding plans and share supplier recommendations.
