Hareston Manor sits among the rolling hills of South Devon, surrounded by countryside and close to the coast. The manor’s grounds include private, manicured gardens, offering both open countryside views and more secluded corners for quieter moments. They can host anything from an intimate elopement for two to a large wedding for up to 150 guests. The team places great importance on tailoring every detail to your preferences, creating thoughtful touches and personalised décor to suit your day.
Hareston Manor has its own 14th-century chapel and offers five exquisite ceremony spaces in total. Each setting provides a different backdrop, allowing couples to choose between something traditional or more contemporary.
Choose from a selection of chic stretch tents, marquees, yurts and tipis, perfect for a festival-style, rustic celebration or traditional fairytale wedding. Invite your guests to join you in front of the manor house in the private manicured gardens as you sip champagne and taste magnificent canapés.
The manor’s South Devon setting puts it within easy reach of Plymouth and the coast, with beaches just a short drive away.
Hareston Manor is around six miles from Plymouth train station, making it easily accessible for guests travelling by rail.
What a venue! Hareston Manor was everything we had hoped for and more.
The first venue we viewed and the only place we wanted to get married. From our first visit in the January rain to the brilliantly sunny day, Rowland and Megan were amazing, and the venue just looked more and more gorgeous.
Our guests have commented many times on how beautiful it all was and how incredible all of the staff were.
We cannot thank Rowland and Megan enough for recommendations, suggestions and keeping us organised on the day.
Married September 2024
We had our wedding at Hareston in May and we could not have chosen a more stunning, perfect venue. Hareston is such a hidden gem. The grounds are beautiful, and Megan and Row are absolutely brilliant. As other people have said, they go above and beyond, are there to assist you with anything you need help or guidance on during the planning process and on the day, you don’t have to worry about anything. They made sure it went smoothly and sorted everything!
It was a pleasure working with them. They are relaxed and put you at ease from day one, and that’s what you want.
The accommodation in the South wing is fantastic, with plenty of space for everyone to get ready on the wedding morning. It’s real luxury. Hareston feels like such a special place from the moment you start to drive through the gate. It has rustic charm whilst being incredibly classy at the same time. The tipis are very special and have a real wow factor. Honestly couldn’t have wished for a better day.
Married May 2025
I can only describe this as the best day of our lives. It’s always a bit worrying finding somewhere as a gay couple to tie the knot, but as soon as we stumbled across Hareston and went to view the venue, we fell in love straight away. Not only did we love the venue, but we fell in love with Rowland and Megan. They were amazing and so personable, which meant we made up our minds straight away! They kept in contact with us throughout and just made it completely stress-free. All of our guests said it was the most beautiful Venue and the best wedding they’ve ever been to. We would give anything to relive this day again!
Married June 2024
My husband and I got married at Hareston Manor in May, and it was the best decision. I’m usually very indecisive, but within minutes of our first visit to Hareston, I knew that we had found our venue. The photos speak for themselves with how beautiful the venue is, but the most important thing for us was what genuinely lovely people Row & Megan are. From the very beginning, they were super helpful and responsive to any questions, no matter how big or small, and it’s clear they really work hard to ensure that the day runs perfectly.
What makes Hareston Manor so special is the personal touch. Row & Megan only take on a limited number of weddings a year, which means they take the time to really get to know you, and it feels like they are right there alongside you in the planning journey rather than just running another event. Their warmth and care shine through in everything they do, and their whole team were just as friendly, supportive, and attentive on the day itself. Everyone made us feel relaxed, looked after, and truly celebrated, and it was clear that this feeling was shared by all our guests who commented on what a special venue it is (and all the suppliers who’ve been there before and told us what an amazing venue we had picked!).
Our wedding day was seamless, joyful, and felt completely like us—and that’s because of the time, effort, and heart they put into everything. We couldn’t recommend Hareston Manor more highly and will always be SO unbelievably grateful that we found them.
Married June 2025
We got married at Hareston Manor in August 2024, and we could not have imagined a better day! Row and Megan were amazing throughout the planning process, replying to emails quickly and supporting us throughout, ensuring we had everything ready for the day and our vision would become reality. The setting itself is so picturesque and peaceful – Row and Megan pay attention to all the small details to make sure the day is seamless.
The accommodation was even better than expected – the shepherd’s hut and pods were nestled away in a tranquil corner of the estate, surrounded by nature. The South Wing was a real luxury and had so much space to accommodate everyone to get ready in the morning.
We cannot thank Row and Megan enough for everything and would recommend Hareston as the perfect place to get married.
