We chose Bruisyard as it took our breath away, it will always have a place in our hearts. The venue is an absolute dream come true, from start to finish, our experience was perfect.
A main selling point for us, especially in light of everything in the past few years, was the ability to be surrounded by all your nearest and dearest without having to rush off the next morning, which really added to the appeal.

Our wedding day was fabulous from start to finish, the team had worked so hard to make sure everything had run smoothly, no doubt helped by Katie’s amazing organisational skills.

We had so many people compliment the venue, the biggest highlights for everyone seemed to be the food, from the canapés to the pizzas (which are still being talked about)! The other main highlight was the lawn games (which are included in the price). We had a number of children at our wedding and they absolutely loved these.

Because we had the venue for three nights the celebrations didn’t stop after the wedding day, we had a fantastic wedding Boxing Day, so we were able to continue the celebrations with our family and friends.

The Bruisyard team had kindly set up the BBQ and seating on the side lawn and everyone loved being able to go and explore the 700 acres at their own leisure.

From day one, Katie and the team have been fantastic, and no question has been too silly. We had the most amazing few days celebrating at Bruisyard! We absolutely adored every moment of being at Bruisyard, it is such a special venue. It not only facilitated two of the best days of our lives to date, but it also brought all our family together under one roof.

Wow what can I say? From start to finish the team at Bruisyard have been amazing! Katie we can’t thank you enough for your help in planning our wedding and making the day run so smoothly! It was an absolute dream and we couldn’t be happier! So many people have said how amazing the food was and how spectacular the venue was! The hall was amazing and made our wedding weekend so special having a place to celebrate before and after the big day! Thank you for letting me create my dream, we honestly can’t thank you all enough.

We recently got married at Bruisyard on 23rd December. Our wedding was like a fairytale come true. All guests commented on beautiful the barn was and how smoothly the day ran. The hall is also fantastic and perfect for all the family to stay. Both our wedding breakfast and the drop off food at the hall was incredible and all the staff at Bruisyard were amazing, calm and made us feel at ease. All of the staff were very helpful in the lead up to the wedding answering all our questions and ensuring we had everything we wanted. We wish we could do it all over again and will definitely book another stay at Bruisyard in the future.

We first came across Bruisyard on a blog dedicated to the best wedding venues to photograph in Suffolk. We quickly arranged a viewing, and within 15 minutes of being on-site, we both knew our wedding would take place here.

The venue, its grounds and the Hall are stunning and make you feel like nobility. In addition to the aesthetic the staff provide an outstanding service. We needed a venue that would allow us to personalise our day as well as our menus.

Our wedding was a fusion of English and Polish cultures. We found that all our requests and wishes were not going to be a problem, and the venue was more than happy to oblige. We had multiple planning meetings with Ruth as well as the head chef.

We will forever recommend Bruisyard as a wedding venue.

We cannot speak highly enough of Bruisyard Country Estate and all that it encompasses.

After visting a few venues prior, we were looking for a venue that gave us that “wow factor” and Bruisyard certainly did that. From the moment we turned in and went up the drive and saw the perfectly maintained gardens on either side and the picturesque hall at the very top, we knew it was perfect for us.

Once meeting with Katie and her team, our initial thoughts were compounded furthermore. Due to their desire to assist in every way and ensure to accommodate every request. This was evident, not only on the wedding day itself, but across the whole weekend. Making sure everything ran smoothly and nothing went amiss.

All of our guests were stunned at the beauty of the venue and nothing but complimentary about all of the food!

Out of this world, from start to finish. We did not want the weekend to end. Can we do it all over again, please?

We first heard about Bruisyard through a friend who had booked their wedding at this stunning venue, it was the last venue on our list and we almost didn’t go as we’d seen some pretty amazing venues beforehand.

However, we went just to see what it was like and we were completely blown away, we knew within minutes after seeing the country house that this venue was the one to celebrate our special day with our nearest and dearest. On exploring the grounds and the barn we instantly fell in love, we could both see it was the perfect venue to hold our wedding.

The staff were so warm and welcoming, the 3 day package was a bonus as we had family travelling from afar and abroad and so we wanted to enjoy time with family before and after the wedding and what better place to stay than Bruisyard Country Estate, it was like home from home.

The food and drinks were delicious, the rooms warm and comfortable, the staff super friendly and polite and couldn’t do enough for us, the barn was absolutely beautiful for our day. Our guests loved the venue and complimented how wonderfully beautiful the venue is.

Our wedding day was perfect in every way, and I’d say a big part of that was down to the venue. We chose some amazing suppliers and couldn’t be happier. We would recommend anyone to choose Bruisyard Country Estate as their chosen wedding venue, you will not be disappointed.

We can’t thank the staff enough for making our special day a day to remember. We have fond memories of Bruisyard, memories to last a lifetime.

Married November 2023

We first saw Bruisyard Country Estate on a drizzly grey Saturday and we knew straight away that we had to get married here, come rain or shine!

The barn and grounds are absolutely stunning on their own but the house added the ultimate wow factor and we were instantly dreaming of how amazing it would be to have it all to ourselves for a weekend.

From the offset the communication with Bruisyard staff was super smooth and they were extremely organised which allowed us rest at ease knowing our day would be in the best hands.

The weekend itself was nothing short of sensational. From the perfectly presented house for our friends and family to stay and sink in the atmosphere to the on-hand support to set up the day prior and smooth sailing on the big day.

10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for the most beautiful and memorable celebration. Huge thank you to Katie, Ruth and team!

From the very start of planning our wedding, the whole team at Bruisyard made everything so easy and fun! Everything was so organised and the communication was brilliant, all of our questions were always answered.

Our wedding weekend was one to remember, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our families and friends had the best time staying over at the venue and could not believe how beautiful the house and the whole estate were.

We wanted somewhere we could host for the whole weekend, and Bruisyard was the perfect place. Nothing was ever too much to ask for, and we never felt like anything was too much trouble. If anything was needed Ruth or Katie was only a message away.

Our wedding day went so smoothly thanks to Ruth and Katie and the whole team, making sure our guests were catered to and the day ran as planned. The food was so beautifully cooked, and everyone loved it!

We hosted a BBQ for all of our guests the day after the wedding, and we used Bruisyard’s catering, and again the food was fresh, tasty and lots of it, too!

We honestly can’t thank the whole Team at Bruisyard enough, we always speak so highly of our wedding venue and we would chose it over and over again! We hope to visit again in the future! A truly beautiful weekend and a lovely team.

From our first visit we absolutely fell in love with Bruisyard Hall, this was actually the first venue we saw!
We were looking for a venue that felt like home, and the fact we would hire the house for three days meant our wedding was also time we could spend with family and friends.

We really wanted a relaxed vibe and Bruisyard Country Estate staff really made this happen for us, nothing was too much trouble, and they really gave a personal service from start to finish.

Our wedding day ran perfectly and the house was so well-equipped with everything we needed, it really was like a home from home.

As soon as we turned into the drive at Bruisyard Country Estate, we knew it was the place for us.
The estate is stunning and the perfect place to spend the most beautiful wedding weekend with loved ones.

The Hall was a luxurious but welcoming place to gather with our nearest and dearest, and the Barn the perfect space for our reception and late night dancing!

What topped it all off was the wonderful staff; Katie, our event manager, was unbelievable (and immediately put me at ease knowing we were in safe hands) as were all the staff we had the pleasure of coming across over our wedding weekend.

Now I am just hoping to come back for an anniversary celebration in the future!

Bruisyard has a magically powerful calming hold over you which cannot be explained until you’ve experienced it.
Everything about the hall, grounds and barn makes for a truly wonderful wedding, we wish we could have stayed for weeks or months afterwards to keep that feeling!

We wanted our wedding to be as relaxing as possible, so many venues seem to have a 24-hour turnaround, and it just felt like that would be far too rushed, and we wouldn’t enjoy our day fully, but with Bruisyard it was completely the opposite.

It was so lovely to have the night before to settle in and really make the most of the event. It also meant that our close family and friends could have dinner and drinks together before the big day and a BBQ the day after, which was really special.

So many of our guests also loved that everything was all in one place for the full wedding day, all they had to do was arrive!

I randomly found a picture of Bruisyard Country Estate whilst scrolling through Pinterest, looking for barn wedding inspiration photos a few years ago. As soon as I saw the barn I fell in love, I just knew it was perfect.
We booked a viewing straight away, and Bruisyard was the first and only venue we ever looked at. We both fell in love with it from the first moment we saw the barns, the beautiful stately home and the people who worked there.

We were adamant that we didn’t want anywhere that felt too “formal” or “regimented” and Bruisyard ticked every box. The staff were so friendly, laid back and approachable, the use of the home and the barns was very relaxed and although the house is impeccably decorated and grand, it still felt homely and warm.

We loved that we could have all of our favourite people there all weekend to help us celebrate the best weekend of our lives. Unfortunately, due to COVID we had to reschedule twice, and we could not have asked for a better venue and people to help us navigate that stressful time. Whether it be rescheduling dates, confirming details, sending 10,000 emails, the team at Bruisyard are incredible in every way.

The wedding weekend went without a glitch, thanks to Ruth and the team on the day. Everyone commented that our canapés were the best they’d ever had, as well as the wedding breakfast meal, and many people commented it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

We cannot thank you and your beautiful venue enough for letting us get married and host all of our friends and family for the best weekend of our lives.

We rented the hall and the barn for the weekend. Having all our close family and friends stay at the hall with us made the weekend even more special. Friday night supper for 30 kicked the weekend off well! The wedding day was amazing – Bruisyard take care of everything you could wish for and more. The venue is stunning, food and drink wonderful too. Two weeks on, both us and and all our guests are still buzzing about what an amazing day it was. Truly the best day of our lives. We cannot recommend this place highly enough for anyone considering it for their wedding. We’d just love to do it all over again!!

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for such an amazing day. We have only been home a few hours however we have had no end of compliments from our family and friends saying how fantastic the day was and especially the venue. We can’t fault you and your services. Thank you for all of your hard work making our day so very special. The food was amazing so please pass our compliments onto your fabulous chef. Can we keep your pizza chef?! The pizzas were delicious! The music was also fabulous so please pass our thanks onto Dreamwave for putting on tunes that kept our guests dancing until the very last song! Alan, thank you for giving us the sunniest November day we’ve had in years! You promised me the day I booked the wedding last year that we would be looked after and have amazing weather and you were right! You and your staff are fantastic!

Bruisyard Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding last week. From the day we viewed the hall and barn, we knew it was where we wanted our wedding.
