  • Private hire of the Oakwood Room for your civil ceremony and wedding breakfast and use of their gardens.

  • A colour-coordinated floral arrangement for your tables.
  • One 'premium' drink per person or two 'house' drinks per person and three Montagu canapés per person for your drinks reception.

Located in the picturesque village of Beaulieu beside the river, The Montagu Arms is an intimate wedding venue ideal for celebrating with close family and friends. Perfect for micro weddings and small, personal celebrations, the hotel offers a traditional setting rich in heritage and charm for up to 32 guests. For larger occasions, exclusive use of the venue is available, accommodating weddings of up to 150 guests.

Ceremony

The Montagu Arms offers three characterful wedding spaces, each rich in classic country-house charm. The light-filled Terrace Restaurant is ideal for exclusive-use weddings of up to 100 guests, while the Oakwood Room provides a cosy, intimate setting for ceremonies and wedding breakfasts of up to 32 guests. The historic Paris Room, dating back to the 17th century, is perfect for smaller celebrations, featuring an open fireplace and parquet flooring.

Indulge in timeless charm with a choice of three spaces, accommodating gatherings up to 150 guests.

We found The Montagu Arms on a wedding website and fell in love with the charming building and classic English gardens. We decided to visit to see the surrounding New Forest countryside and the venue and were blown away with how quaint and pristine the area was. We loved the ponies, donkeys and other wildlife and picture-perfect vistas.

We knew this would be an ideal location in Hampshire for a wedding and would make lovely photos for keepsakes. On our visit, Clara was so welcoming and helpful, assisting with any queries we had. We also thought that for the location and the venue, the price was quite reasonable once we compared it to other venues.

We wanted an intimate wedding, and when we visited The Montagu Arms, we fell in love with it. The hotel gardens were beautiful, and the location was ideal. We wanted a dog-friendly wedding venue, too, and the set-up at The Montagu Arms meant our dog could be with us for the whole day. Clara, the wedding coordinator, was great on our visit, answering all our questions and being welcoming.
