Thanks so much, it really was a wonderful day and so many people commented on how amazing the venue was. Lots of people said one of the best bits, apart of course from the setting itself, was how we used the whole place, so it felt like we were changing location as the day went on.
We wanted to say huge thank you for providing us with your beautiful venue for our wedding. It was so special being somewhere so familiar that is now one of the most memorable parts of our lives.
We had an incredible day and we had so many compliments from our friends on how amazing the venue was! Everyone really loved being able to look out over the Wetlands during our drinks reception.
We encourage all guests to go out and enjoy a walk on the beautiful nature reserve. We recommend making time for this in the wedding schedule before or after the ceremony. This allows time for you to take pictures too! However, once your drinks reception commences or the reserve closes to the public (whichever is first) for security reasons, any guests will have no further access to the reserve.
Guests may only use dried flower petals, but we request that this be thrown outside the building.
You can decorate the interior with flowers, candles (in holders), fairy lights, bunting and free-standing props. For environmental reasons, we do not allow balloons, fireworks or glitter.
No speakers or music systems are built into any of the rooms. You may provide your own, but please check on your showround the nearest available plug sockets.
We allow live bands and DJs but ask that they kindly adhere to the sound limit policy, which is 85 decibels, to protect the surrounding wildlife. Bands should not include drums; heavily amplified instruments and brass bands are not allowed onsite. The event coordinator will monitor levels during the night.
