Ceremony
The ceremony is the centrepiece of your wedding day! Their Great Hall, with its tasteful décor, polished wood flooring, chandelier lighting, views across the front lawns, and working stone fire, is a truly romantic place to hold your ceremony. An outdoor ceremony is also available at Howsham Hall on the front lawn, with the elegant house as the backdrop. This makes for an ideal spot to host a romantic and magical ceremony. Within Howsham village is also a local church.
Reception
The Drinks Reception can be held outside in the gardens and grounds with the backdrop of the stunning majestic building for photographs. Guests can mingle and chat using the spacious, light-filled Staircase Hall – a photographer’s paradise. Guests can even have a snooker game in the Billiard Room while you’re taking your photos.
The Drawing Room will blow your guests away as your Wedding Breakfast setting; it is truly spectacular! Designed with the wow factor in mind, mixing the perfect blend of contemporary and traditional allows for any style of wedding tablescape to come alive. When it is party time, your guests will make their way across to the Riverside Bar for cocktail hour, where the evening bar and dancefloor is also available. The outdoor terrace is dressed with festoon lighting, casual furniture and views of the river; guests can throw shapes on the dancefloor or enjoy a cocktail with a view! With rich velvets, copper accents and a private viewing gallery, this unique setting perfectly fits the quirks of Howsham Hall.

Howsham Hall has the most spectacular Wedding Suite, one of the largest in Europe! This amazing suite features a private sitting room with a larger lounge area, mirrors, and dressing platforms, ideal for wedding morning preparations. The Wedding Suite flows effortlessly through to a dressing room and main bedroom. The bathroom is fit for royalty, with a large feature bath, walk-in showers and views as far as the eye can see.
