We cannot thank you all enough for your hard work to give us the perfect wedding day! Our guests and us had a fantastic time, everything went smoothly, and it all felt relaxed which is exactly what we wanted. Nicky was amazing at our planning meeting, and we felt confident you had everything in hand and on the day, there was nothing we needed to do or worry about which allowed us to fully enjoy the day. We have so many happy memories from the day which will last our lifetime.

Where do we start in describing the most perfect day and experience… we feel so lucky to have come across Barns & Yard as our wedding venue. After an exhaustive search, a new venue popped up and as soon as we saw the gorgeous photos, we couldn’t wait to see if it was as perfect in person, we were bowled over that it is even better. Lisi and Kate were so welcoming and helpful from the moment we first walked through the door, all the way through our planning, on the day and beyond. We genuinely couldn’t have wished for a better team to work with, nothing was too much trouble and we so appreciated the amount of time, effort and detail put in to the planning of our wedding day – they had everything covered, things we hadn’t even considered! We stayed in the cottages for the night before and the night of the wedding and the standard of accommodation is so high. It made such a difference to be at the venue for the whole 48 hours and took the stresses of travelling in a wedding dress out of the equation. I even got to have a super early morning (happy) sob by the lake, thinking that the day I’d been dreaming of was finally here. The day was absolutely perfect and ran so smoothly. Reminiscing about the whole experience brings yet more tears to our eyes and happy hearts full of beautiful memories. Lisi and Kate, we cannot thank you enough!

Lisi and Kate welcomed us to Barns and Yard as though we were long life friends. We hadn’t viewed any other venues before this one and didn’t visit any afterwards, we fell in love with Barns & Yard straight away and knew it was perfect for us. When our wedding day finally arrived Lisi and Kate would have been better suited as our close guests rather than venue owners, which is a testament to how they approach customer service and your special day. They both put us at ease with supportive advice and great recommendations and couldn’t have done more to help make our day perfect. The suppliers that they recommend were outstanding and their quality compliments the perfect setting. We wouldn’t hesitate recommending Barns & Yard to anyone that wishes to have the most spectacular wedding day.

Lisi & Kate (and all at Barns & Yard!), Your first COVID wedding and you have gone above and beyond to make our wedding day (and stay!) so so very special. We definitely won’t forget our special day and can’t thank you enough!!

We have so many amazing memories of our wedding day at Barns and Yard, the venue is superb and Lisi and Kate supported us really well in planning everything and in ensuring the day was the success it was. One of the things that distinguishes the venue from others is that the team focused on providing what we wanted rather than trying to push us to do or buy particular services like many other venues do. This helped in making the day and the planning process much more relaxing and personal. The venue itself is amazing, in addition to the beautiful and modern barns the lake is a really distinctive feature which impressed our guests. The accommodation is also fantastic with amazing attention to detail. We would recommend Barns and Yard to everybody who is considering it and wish the team all the best in helping other couples create their dream wedding day.

To the three stars that you are, we are so grateful that you provided us with the most thoughtful care and consideration over the not so fun covid times and then finally managed to support us in having one of the most memorable days we could ever have imagined. We received so many compliments about the venue, it was the most wonderful setting for a magical day.
