Let me introduce you to Becky Hoh-Hale…
Becky is the former assistant editor of luxury interior design magazine, idfx, where she styled and wrote about beautiful things on a daily basis. She set up vintage china and prop hire and events company A Most Curious Party, following a disheartening experience with finding creative suppliers for her own wedding in 2008. This developed into organising A Most Curious Wedding Fairs in 2011.
Becky remains dedicated to finding the coolest, chicest, trend-led and perhaps kinda out of the ordinary things for couples to have at their weddings. After three years running the fairs with the lovely fine art graduate Gemma Goodwin, who has gone on to be a wonderful set designer, Becky is now lucky enough to spearhead the brand and creative direction with a carefully chosen crack team of Event Managers who rock her world.
Now I have a couple of opinions when it comes to Wedding Fairs (I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly!), but this one gets me all sorts of excited and that’s why I want to share it with you today – so get the diary my friends, you’ll want to save these dates…
Notes from Most Curious
Most Curious, is THE wedding show for the style savvy couple.
Now in double figures with our tenth show, we pride ourselves on being the first of its kind to strip back the labels – vintage, alternative, designer, luxury – let’s just keep it simple, stylish, free spirited and NOW.
Most Curious carefully handpicks its merry gang of exhibitors who range from the very coolest of the established brands to up and coming makers working from their bedrooms, kitchens, studios and raw imaginations.
Just like you, they are drawing their inspiration from the lifestyle trends around us. If you too are creative, enjoy good design, are expressive and discerning with your choices for your clothes, home, heck even your stationery, then chances are you’ll be hoping to draw inspiration for your wedding from your lifestyle trends, the things you both love to have around you in everyday life and we just KNOW all of of that is gonna match up with our exhibitor’s influences too.
Our exhibitors know you want your wedding to be about you having fun and being creative, dreaming big and most importantly an expression and celebration of who you are as a couple.
In the setting of an amazing spaces, in two locations – London with over 120 exhibitors and Norwich with over 60 exhibitors, an explosion of creativity will take over the venue in the form of installations, catwalk shows, suppliers and ideas you are going to fall in love with.
We’ve taken a solemn vow to bring brides and grooms the very latest fashions, designs, exciting and directional products and services, with the foresight to be changeable, en vogue and never tired or standing still. If it’s beautiful, fresh, fun and on the cusp of cool we want to bring it to our creativity-hungry most curious couples.
If you love great, interesting and expressive design, fashion, food for your home and your life as a couple then do not settle for less for your wedding! You can make it a reflection of all those aesthetics that you love, a wonderful stylised version of your life together. That’s what we are here to help with!
Follow your heart, don’t settle, don’t feel silly there is always the right supplier our there for you, who will just ‘get’ who you guys are and what you want!
Our London shows are expertly organised by Sara Smyth and Sarah ‘Cat’ Brennan formerly of much loved but now defunct eclectic bridal boutique ruby+diva. Between them they bring an unfathomable amount of operational flair to the table to ensure the shows have as much efficiency and professionalism as they do creativity and pioneer spirit.
Our Norwich shows are expertly organised by fresh and fun East Anglian wedding photographer Beth Moseley of Beth Moseley Photography, who connected and bonded with Becky due to her being the first Norwich exhibitor to adorn her stand with paper honeycomb balls, rather than bunting back in 2013.
