With a history of over a century, Thetford Farm Barn has been owned and tended by the Richardson family. As you approach along the A15, a grand driveway leads you to the picturesque Grade II listed 18th-century barns. Ample parking space for up to 120 cars is available on-site, along with a charming courtyard exclusively reserved for wedding cars and guest drop-offs. For those arriving by coach, provisions have been made to accommodate up to 5 coaches, ensuring a hassle-free arrival.
Nearby train stations, including Stamford, Spalding, and Peterborough, provide convenient travel links. A short 20-minute journey by car or bus will take you to the venue from these stations, facilitating easy transportation for your guests.

The Barn itself has been meticulously restored, preserving its exquisite architectural details. Magnificent original beams, soaring double-height ceilings, and a generous 20-metre aisle create an awe-inspiring setting for intimate and grand ceremonies. Separate dressing room suites are available for the Wedding Party, while the charming Hayloft provides an additional space. Both are thoughtfully located on opposite sides of the Barn.
The Dining room offers floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the delightful courtyard garden for your wedding breakfast. By adding marquees, this space can accommodate over 400 guests. With two well-appointed bar areas, The White Horse bar beneath the Hayloft, and a bar in the dining room, your guests will have plenty of space to mingle. Their curated selection of suppliers ensures you receive delicious, high-quality food and drink without breaking the bank. A professional sound system has been installed throughout the venue, allowing you to celebrate until sunset.
Thetford Farm Barn is fully wheelchair accessible, and they warmly welcome guide dogs onto their premises.
While on-site accommodation will be available from 2025 onwards, Thetford Farm Barn is pleased to offer a charming house in the nearby village of Baston, accommodating up to 10 people. Additionally, they have carefully curated a selection of accommodation options spanning various budgets, ensuring a delightful weekend for you and all your cherished guests.
