The Old Vicarage Boutique Wedding Venue

Attended my Son and our now, daughter-in-laws wedding at this truly exceptional venue. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel at home and couldn’t do enough to help. The Old Vicarage is set in stunning grounds that are perfect for an intimate outdoor ceremony. The layout for the meal and the attention to detail was second to none. The wedding breakfast and service was exemplary. This venue really does have the wow factor and you will do well to find a better location than this for your big day.

The perfect day!

We hadn’t even stepped inside the front door on our first visit before we knew this was the venue for our wedding. Once inside we instantly fell in love with the space but since then, the team have somehow made it better! There were renovations since our first viewing which we were lucky enough to see throughout our wait towards our big day… nothing that you’d have thought was needed, but the finish is amazing! The bar in particular being a favourite of ours!!

The staff at TOV, from front of house and the planners, predominantly Laura and Chelsea, who we mainly dealt with, to the waitresses and waiters, and finally the bar staff – they’re all amazing and nothing was too much trouble on the day. Their relationships with local suppliers also made the day go very smoothly, you can understand why they recommend them!

The food: choosing our menu from the amazing options available was near on impossible. Everything we had was spot on and the guests still mention it now.

Finally, the rooms… exclusivity of the venue at night finished the evening off perfectly. It’s nice knowing you can fully relax with your bed just feet away after spending the whole day stood up haha!

The whole day ran like clockwork and we both know that it was down to the whole team at TOV and we cannot thank them enough!

An absolute gem of a wedding venue for intimate weddings in Nottinghamshire. I love photographing weddings here as the staff are so lovely and the venue has such a homely feeling. I always look forward to my next wedding at The Old Vicarage.

Married September 2023

We got married at The Old Vicarage in August 2021 and it truly was the best day of our lives!

The perfect venue which is so beautifully cared for and the fantastic team led by Chelsea and Laura just blew us away; from the moment we booked to the moment we left after our wedding. Chelsea, Laura and the team were so attentive and did absolutely everything that they could to make our day the best day of our lives – nothing was ever too much trouble from looking after elderly guests to being there when sauce was split on the dress in an instant!

We booked exclusivity the night before which we would highly recommend. Jason was fantastic in looking after us all and we were so relaxed as we left for a meal to come and find the main room set up for the wedding day with all our own personal touches layed out – we never lifted a finger! We had wine and cocktails the night before and tea and coffee were available throughout the night if we needed it! Waking up in such a special venue was the perfect start to the perfect day with our closest family and friends. The rooms are absolutely outstanding and are always being modernised and additional touches added.

The team felt like family on the day and made us feel like we were the only couple getting married there in that year never mind that day! We can never thank Chelsea, Laura and the team enough for making our day so special, the Old Vicarage will always be such a special place to us! Our guests were so complimentary and were wowed by absolutely everything on the day! I have never visited a wedding venue quite like this one! Perfect!

The wedding venue of dreams!

The Old Vicarage is an extremely beautiful setting for a wedding on its own, paired together with the efficiency of the staff, the eye for detail and the smooth running of the wedding day itself this venue is perfect. I always expected that there would be some slight stress at some point on the day itself, however there was absolutely no need as this venue has it perfectly under control at all times!

We married here in December 2021, a week before Christmas. We decided to opt for the exclusivity the evening before the wedding which I would highly recommend as it really does add an extra dimension to the celebrations. Everything was taken care of from the moment we arrived, we were able to just relax and enjoy time with our family. The wedding day was everything we had imagined and dreamed of, the most beautiful setting with a short and intimate ceremony followed by a truly delicious wedding breakfast, so many of our guests commented on just how good the food was! The transition in to the evening was seamless, with a great bar area serving great drinks. Everyone had a great day and thought the venue was amazing.

We truly can not recommend The Old Vicarage enough, it most certainly is the perfect place to have the best day ever!

From the moment we stepped into The Old Vicarage on a wedding open day, we knew instantly this had to be our venue – the decor, the attention to detail, and the friendliness of the staff just made us fall in love with it! The planning was so easy and seamless. Laura was always on hand to help and answer any queries. We used a mixture of our own suppliers and those recommended by the team and they complemented each other wonderfully. Our wedding day was better than we could have ever imagined Laura and the team on the day ensured everything ran smoothly, with such elegance! The canapés and wedding breakfast were amazing (our guests described the food as the best wedding food they had ever tasted) I’m so glad we added canapés – they just added that extra bit of special! The rooms are beautiful, and to see our guest’s faces light up when they checked in was brilliant! We’ve lost track of how many times we’ve been told it was the best wedding our guests had ever been to (& they meant it!) The team never missed a beat, the venue is absolutely stunning, and we will never be able to thank Laura and the team at The Old Vicarage enough for making our wedding day the best day of our lives! We wish we could do it all over again!

Married August 2023

Myself and my partner were married at The Old Vicarage on the 10 July 2021.

The experience that the team at The Old Vicarage provided to us on our special day was exceptional, even despite the circumstances surrounding the pandemic. In fact, the whole experience they provided since booking our wedding in early 2018 has been nothing short of amazing.

Each one of the staff that worked on the day of our wedding were fantasic, and all of our guests commented not only on how lovely the venue is, but how lovely the staff were on the day. We also recieved lots of lovely feedback about the food on the day, and we agree that this was superb. We had exclusivity of the venue the night before our wedding, which we and our guests really enjoyed because we got to stay in the beautiful rooms and enjoy breakfast at the venue.

I really do believe that The Old Vicarage offers something unlike anywhere else in Nottingham (and further!) and we are so pleased that we got to share our special day with our friends and family at such a beautiful venue.

My wife and I got married at the Old Vicarage on the 1st of July, 2023. From attending the open day and seeing the venue my wife and I fell in love with it. The grounds and rooms are stunning and the attention to detail in every way was outstanding. Laura and the team put us at ease and answered any questions we had. The day itself was incredible and all we could have wished for. Our guests also commented on how wonderful this venue really is. The food was incredible, some of the best we have ever eaten. We simply can’t thank TOV enough for everything you have done. Which I am sure they must hear all the time!

Every guest told us how incredible the venue is and couldn’t believe how perfectly and seamless everything went, many asked how we had found it as couldn’t believe something so beautiful, personal and different to other venues existed. They also said how wonderful all of the staff, both in the day and evening were, very helpful and professional and just made the whole day even more special. It genuinely felt like a dream and I would be at TOV every day if I could!

From the most incredible food, both the breakfast and the evening pizzas were some of the best food we have had and all our guests enjoyed them too! It simply was everything we had dreamed of and then some!

We got married at The Old Vicarage towards the end of October 23, and we could not have asked for a better day.

The team at TOV, in particular Laura and Jess are incredible; nothing was too much, even for Laura when she was sewing me into my dress just before the ceremony; I am forever thankful!
The day was so smooth and chilled yet really professional and the food was incredible; guests are still talking about how good it was!

Throughout the whole process of booking and organising over the last 2 years, the team have been on hand for any queries. We couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. The whole house was spotless and so well maintained, guests loved how it felt cosy and warm while still holding the elegance of a wedding location. We honestly could not have asked for anything better. Thank you so much for being so fab!

Ps, extra shout out for the food, especially the breakfast the morning after – so good.

I am not really sure where to start with this venue, it is absolutely perfect in every way!

From the moment we first walked in, I knew this was the venue for us. This became even more clear when we met Richard, he was just amazing from our first meeting. He just put us at ease immediately and was so organised that I just knew I could trust him with our special day.

When the big day finally arrived both Richard and Laura were incredible, Laura even went to the effort to lace up my dress!! The food was delicious, all our guests were so happy and well fed.

I cannot recommend The Old Vicarage enough and praise Richard, Laura, Chelsea and all the team for being just wonderful!!
Everyone should get married here!

We recently had our wedding day at The Old Vicarage on the 16th July and it was just the most fabulous day from start to finish.

Throughout the whole planning process Laura couldn’t of been more helpful. We had to postpone from August 2020 and the whole team were so reassuring and supportive throughout the most stressful time, we were so lucky to have such a brilliant venue and team to work with!

We had exclusivity of the venue the night before and this was one of the best decisions that we made, it made for a lovely start to our celebrations having the venue to ourselves the night before and it also made for such a calm experience during the morning of the wedding.

The day was more than we expected, every detail was taken care of, the food was amazing (people commented that it was the best they had at a wedding), the venue itself is just stunning and without even adding anything it is just beautifully classy. The whole team at TOV are amazing and we can’t thank them enough.

If you are thinking of booking TOV for your wedding don’t think twice! It was the first venue we went to view and we didn’t look at anymore as it was so perfect. We’ve had guests say it was the best wedding they have been to and obviously we couldn’t agree more!
