What Amy and Ben have done with this place is truly special and incredible. We could not have asked for a better place to get married. Choosing our own suppliers was such a wonderful way to put a personal touch to our day.

The quality of the restoration to the site is second to none, and they, as a couple, are so welcoming and open, which supported the wedding planning process to be relaxed and easygoing.

Anyone considering a DIY hire venue for their special day should 100% see Moat Hall Barns. You will have the best day you could ask for!

My wife and I were lucky enough to be the first couple to say their I Do’s at the venue, and Amy and Ben had gone over and above what we expected after seeing all the potential when it was still being converted.

From the moment we met them, we could feel how determined they were to create the venue of any lucky couple’s dreams, and all of their hard work has more than paid off.

We had an amazing day, and they couldn’t be more helpful in the build-up, on the day, and post-wedding. We are already thinking of renewing our vows with them in a few years so that we can do it all over again!

What a venue! The beauty of it blew away everyone who came. We had a very wet day, but the undercover outdoor space was amazing. Looking down from the balcony was so fun as we could see everyone having a good time, but it was also a nice place for people to chat quietly. Amy and Ben have been extremely helpful and recommended lots of the suppliers we used, and they were all great. Lots of little gems of wisdom were given to us when we met with Amy and Ben the day before our wedding, which calmed all our nerves about things coming together. They were so friendly and went the extra mile for us. We would book it again in a heartbeat.

We cannot thank Amy and Ben enough for making our Wedding day truly special. We came to see Moat Hall Barns before the building work got underway – and it required a lot of vision !!! But we always had faith in Amy and Ben; we knew they would choose the best possible finish for this venue, and we could also tell how passionate they were about giving couples their dream weddings.

The venue is simply breathtaking and versatile, but it is Amy and Ben who add value with their advice, support and unwavering help on the day.

Having just had the most magical wedding at Moat Hall Barns, we can’t thank Amy & Ben enough. It was everything we dreamed of and more.

The venue has been finished to such a beautiful standard, and they have created a space in which any couple would be lucky enough to share such a special day. All of our guests commented on the barn’s character, the stunning setting, and how approachable Ben & Amy were.

From viewing during renovations last year & trusting in their vision, we feel so incredibly lucky to share such a perfect day with our friends and family—a truly unique venue with such a family feel. We are so happy that we chose it for our special day.

Five stars just about scratches the surface of how amazing this place and the people are. From the moment we saw the sketches of the proposed finish, we knew this was the place we had to have our wedding. And to say the finished product exceeded all expectations would be an understatement. Every inch of this venue has been meticulously thought through with couples in mind from start to finish. Amy and Ben have been amazing from the first message to show around and the moment we left after our big day. They were always quick to respond to messages, and the help and support they provided over our entire weekend was second to none. Not all DIY venues will have owners so willing to get stuck in and be on hand for anything you need. We felt so at home and relaxed during our time here, and we cannot thank Amy & Ben enough for everything!

We had a perfect weekend, and everyone loved the venue. There are so many positive things to mention; firstly, the venue owners put a lot of their time and attention into each occasion, both in helping with planning before the wedding and particularly during the occasion when they helped keep things running smoothly in the background—the perfect mix of helping without over-imposing, and their very nice people to talk to too.

The venue itself has been thoughtfully constructed and nicely set up, so we didn’t require much additional decoration. There are multiple spaces, and the outside area is great on a nice day. The main barn is also lovely for the meal and evening reception. We wish Amy & Ben all the best for their venture; they only started earlier this year but operated very professionally without issues, which says a lot. You won’t regret choosing them to host your special occasion!

Everything was perfect from start to finish – this venue couldn’t have been better, with so many different areas and such a beautiful location. Everything about it was just stunning. We had the best day of our lives and couldn’t have pulled it off without such an incredible venue.

Moat Hall Barns was perfect for our wedding. The venue is so beautiful, with rustic red brick buildings and a high finish inside the barn. It had everything we envisaged for our wedding and more! Amy, Ben and family were amazing and helpful throughout the process. We cannot thank them enough for their support. The amount of compliments we have received is a testament to their hard work. We are now trying to find an excuse to return to their venue! The location was excellent, with stunning countryside views all around. It was only a stone’s throw away from Shrewsbury, perfect for guest accommodation. Once again, thank you so much.
