Marleybrook House is an immaculately presented 17th Century ‘chocolate box’ thatched farmhouse full of unique character, history and old world charm. The 5 acres of gardens, paddocks and woodland provide the perfect setting for a quintessential English country wedding.
The former home to the legendary international singer, actress and cabaret star Eartha Kitt, Marleybrook House is in a secluded location, offering total privacy and exclusivity, yet just 7 miles from the city of Canterbury.
I married in an English garden setting, so on a personal note, I’m quite smitten with Marleybrook House. This is a fun loving venue, that is both refined and rustic in equal measures. Marleybrook House is full of nostalgia and quirky original features such as a haywain, gypsy wagon, showman’s caravan, butchers bike, red telephone box and much, much more!
The owners pride themselves on offering a carefully selected, high-calibre team to ensure your day is absolutely your perfect vision – whether that’s a classic affair or a relaxed boho celebration. The exquisite high-end food, crystal glassware, luxury linens and tableware create quite the wedding breakfast scene for you and your guests. The grand marquee is adorned with crystal chandeliers, stone urns with spiral topiary and bay trees lit with twinkling lights.
