Situated in the popular Cambridgeshire village of Barrington, exclusive use of this beautifully restored country house provides a unique and intimate setting that will create the perfect ambiance for your wedding day.

With various ceremony options available including their two interlinking regal suites, modern Kendall suite and outdoor terrace overlooking the grounds, a beautiful 14th century church also sits opposite Barrington Hall itself. Their grand, clear sided, all-weather marquee sits neatly on the manicured lawns, framed by country fields and thick woodland.

With ample parking on site for guests, they are 7 miles away from Cambridge city centre with plenty of accommodation options nearby.

The Vibe

Barrington Hall is a striking, white painted Victorian manor house oozing opulence and glamour with a timeless charm and relaxed vibe for guests. Private, exclusive and homely, guests have full use of the site which includes the manor’s glamorous suites, a grand, clear-sided marquee and extensive grounds.

The historic house is alluring and romantic thanks to lavish wallpaper, Italian marble floors, elegant draping and stunning chandeliers. It consists of interlinking suites, a large modern suite perfect for indoor ceremonies, bridal quarters for freshening up and a wow-factor entranceway for wet weather drinks leading out onto the grounds.

With a large, furnished terrace area available for both stunning ceremonies and socialising, guests can enjoy lazy summer evenings outside or cosy winter evenings snuggled up with blankets around the large fire pit, complete with fairy lights.

When it comes to food, their sole caterers CDC Weddings provide a high standard of freshly prepared food to you and your guests on your special day. They follow their ethos, to create inspiring menus from fresh, local ingredients that also wow your guests. Barrington Hall is a Victorian Manor House with beautiful grounds, woodland and meadows. Andy and Alex’s wedding was in June and the meadows were bursting with poppies and other wild flowers. And there’s a very funky looking tree (I think it might be a Yew tree) which was great for arranging the bridesmaids and groomsmen on.

We had wonderful weather but if it had rained then there’s a winding staircase that would be perfect for group photographs.
There’s a variety of rooms to hold ceremonies and receptions, as well as a large marquee next to the house. This is what we used so that the party could easily spill out from the dance floor to the warm summer air. Barrington Hall looks majestic during the day and at night it glows beautifully for romantic twilight shots. I loved using a series of radio controlled flashes to light up the building and create some eye-catching night-time shots of Andy and Alex.

It was a perfect wedding and I’d recommend Barrington Hall to anyone wanting to get married near Cambridge.

Please pass on our thanks to all who helped make our wedding day at Barrington Hall our dream day! The planning and attention to detail over the past months were seamless. Upon arrival at Barrington Hall, Aimée instantly put us at ease, nothing was too much trouble for her, she was very calm, even if we were not. Her enthusiasm and cheerfulness emanated the whole day. The chefs were absolutely phenomenal – every canapé and plate of food was delicious. Lots of our guests commented on the quality of the meal. There is no rehearsal for a day like this, but there is not one thing about the day we would change. The food was superb, served politely and at a relaxed pace. This was our dream wedding. We cannot fault the service that was provided before and on the day. We all had the most wonderful time and have heard such lovely feedback from our guests regarding the venue, food, service and smooth running of the day.
