Welcome to Pylewell: eclectic and eccentric, beautiful and British. From bedrooms to bars, ceremony spaces to party places, we invite you to make our home yours. We like to do things a little differently around here and toss the traditional wedding rulebook out the window. Set packages don’t really float the boat for us; our weddings and events are wonderfully unique, fabulous and personal.

Here at Pylewell Park, our wedding ethos is your day—your way… and we truly mean that! You won’t find set packages, rules, or ways that your day has to be. Our beautiful event and ceremony spaces are the ultimate blank canvas for a style-savvy couple, and each wedding is an opportunity for our couples to put their own stamp on the venue.

From dodgems, carousels, hot air balloons, private plane displays, bringing dogs, horses or alpacas… The opportunities are endless. As an exclusive-use venue, we proudly offer our house, grounds and gardens for your bridal party and nearest and dearest. You won’t find stuffy hospitality but warm and welcoming staff encouraging you to make the house yours for the weekend. Check in, explore the house and grounds and take a stroll down to the private access beach before supper—an intimate dinner with family and friends under our alfresco dining sail or in our decadent dining room. Having the whole day on Friday to access the venue and bring your suppliers in means you are ready to kick back and relax by Friday night!

Wake up on Saturday morning and head down to breakfast. The waft of freshly cooked bacon and coffee will start your day, and suppliers will come and go, making sure everything is perfect. The exclusivity of our country house means you can wander around in your pyjamas, take a stroll, or dip in the sea before the big day and enjoy the house’s grandeur in a leisurely fashion.

Our bridal suite is romantic, if we say so ourselves and the perfect spot to get into your dress and do the first look with your bridesmaids. Our boys love to start the day in our penthouse- a self-contained three-bedroom apartment with a roof terrace and lounge area.

When it comes to ‘I do’ spots, our sail overlooking the balustrade and beach is rather special. Go old school and classic in the main house, or pick an intimate spot in the gardens before sipping chilled champagne and enjoying a spot of garden games.

We love the juxtaposition of a grade II listed house and a contemporary marquee where floating flowers, freestanding installation, and myriad fairy lights and candles are always welcome. After dining, head to the bar, relax by our firepits or hit the dancefloor for an evening of merriment. Finish with fireworks or a sparkler exit before seeing off your guests and heading to our penthouse lounge for whisky and cigars on the roof terrace- an after party with your closest friends is a rather fabulous way to end your wedding day.

Wake up to a leisurely breakfast with family and friends and have the whole morning to pack up and check out—that’s if we haven’t tempted you to stay for another day or night—from boozy brunches to a full-on Sunday garden party or BBQ—with a hair of the dog, of course! Or perhaps charter a rib to hop over to the Isle of Wight for lunch at The Hut before heading home to Pylewell for one last night with us.

We believe there is nothing more perfect than having utter exclusivity for your big day- and with 13 bedrooms, access the day prior and multi-day event options- you can create your own itinerary and timings. Our little black book will ensure you have every supplier you may need for the entire weekend, and our award-winning and passionate events team will ensure your weekend runs without a hitch. The day itself goes so quickly- so we always like to offer the venue with two nights accommodation and access the day before give you every opportunity to spend time with loved ones, and create unforgettable memories.
