If flying to a faraway destination is a little way off then fear not, it seems all we need is this dreamy scene in Cornwall! I’m LOVING all the Miami pool party vibes at Boconnion and I think it’s exactly what we all need – soft pastels, statement pampas florals, dreamy bohemian fashion and some seriously delish food and drink.

As a new venue, we wanted to create inspiration for couples getting married on the estate. We are a blank canvas where anything goes! We used the grounds of the venue to execute the vision and had the pool and marquee as the central shoot location.
The theme was ‘Boho Miami Pool Party’ where we used pastels, neutrals and florals to create a relaxed, boho, fun vibe.
The dress was from The House of St Patrick LasSposa collection at Bridal Gossip. The bride had a boho look with a smoky natural eye and loose waves paired with a fedora hat decorated with fresh flowers. The groom wore a pink suit to subtly complement the bride.
I shared my vision with Nikki at Knots & Kisses when she visited Boconnion. Nikki created mood boards to design the styling – a relaxed, boho, fun and floral Miami pool style shoot which was executed and bought to life by Stephanie at The Youngest Child.
The florist was Kate from Floribunda and the theme was pampas! We opted for statement hanging pampas, dried and fresh ‘clouds’ and relaxed florals for the marquee and poolside.
We aimed to showcase our individual suppliers and Boconnion as a venue and to create that wow factor for couples! Boho might not be for everyone but it certainly is eye-catching, relaxed and on trend for this season. We hope you’ll be inspired by the colour palette, or the floral arrangements or even our very own corner of Cornwall for your own big day.
