The Setting

Welcome to Wyresdale’s Wedding Barns, your stunning home from home; a place to bring your celebration to life.

Their renovated, unique buildings create a flexible, spacious venue: the barns have all the honesty and charm of a rustic setting whilst being a minutes stroll from the formality and country house glamour of Wyresdale Hall. A magical park with its very own rowing lake, North Wing and secret woodland trails.

Situated in the rural village of Scorton, on the edge of the picturesque Forest of Bowland. Having the M6 just down the road gives you a link to Manchester airport within an hour. In the opposite direction you have the stunning Lake District within 25 minutes.

As well as the wedding barns, Wyresdale Park is home to The Apple Store cafe, on site SPA, artisans shops and art studios.

The Vibe

Wedding barns for your ceremony, reception, dinner and dancing! On site accommodation for your stay, the lake and lawns for the picture perfect backdrop.

The White Barn is the perfect space to host your reception. With towering ceilings, balconies and adjoining bar this is perfect banqueting hall for the big day.

The Ceremony Barn is a stunning room to exchange vows with your partner. This cosy and peaceful space can then be used in the evening to sit back, relax and watch the celebrations in full swing.

The Tractor Barn is perfect for your drinks reception if the weather is inclement. The barn adjoins their flower-filled stone courtyard and bar, contains their antique tractors and makes the perfect spot for a festival style food vans for the evening.

The Disco Barn, their newest addition, is where you can party the night away, equipped with stage, magical lighting and disco balls of course. This is the ultimate way to end a perfect day.

Last but by no means least; The ‘Fell Inn’ is the picture perfect miniature tavern that connects all three barns, oozes atmosphere and demands a late night lock in. You have the option to use their bar supplier or they can provide the staff and you provide the drinks, ensuring drinks can either be freely poured or offered at price you choose.

Hidden away behind the café gardens is the beautiful south terraced lawn. The perfect outdoor setting for your afternoon drinks, this elegant space has abundant flower beds, striped lawns, the Hall as its backdrop and their fountain as its focus. A terrific contrast to the simplicity of the stone barns.

You will have accommodation the night before and the night of your wedding.

The estate has two very beautiful glamping sites to choose from, The Orchard is adjacent to the venue and can sleep up to twenty people. All yurts are raised on timber decks with heated king size beds, phone charging facilities and have access to a fully fitted kitchen, lavatories and showers. This campsite is designed to take away the hassle of accommodation and also ensure that your nearest and dearest can settle in with you the night before your wedding. The Featherdown tents by the lake are also bookable but not exclusive to your wedding party.
