Romantic and rustic, flexible and fun – Weddings at Penhein are one of a kind.
Come together with family and friends in a festival-style celebration at this beautiful and unique wedding location in Monmouthshire, South Wales. Their award-winning glamping wedding venue is nestled in amongst the trees in a patch of secluded woodland on their 450-acre family-run farm, surrounded by endless unspoilt countryside.
Both Bristol and Cardiff airports are within easy reach, and there are regular train services to and from Newport and Chepstow, so they’re well connected for guests travelling in from afar. For those coming from closer to home, they’re only 20 minutes from the M4 – although you’d never know, given how rural and quiet it is!
Just like their glamping, Weddings at Penhein offer something a little different; refined simplicity filled with thoughtful details and surprising little luxuries.
With the Monmouthshire hills providing a picturesque setting, let their peaceful and secluded glampsite and wildflower meadow play host to your own private party. Invite your guests to escape to nature for a few days of festival-style fun, complete with bell tents, a tipi, shepherd’s hut loos, fantastic catering from their local suppliers, and a well-stocked bar. Not to mention breathtaking scenery and stunning countryside.
Their wedding packages have been carefully put together to offer a well-thought out event that is affordable, intimate and utterly romantic. Available in three sizes, the essentials are the same in every package – just scaled up depending on the number of guests. Costs are based on a three-day celebration from Friday to Sunday. They find weekends tend to be the most popular, but weekday weddings are also possible so please get in touch to discuss your options.
Choose the wedding option below that best fits your dream day and we will do our very best to make your wishes come true.
**Please note that hire of Penhein for a wedding is contingent on all alachighs also being booked by you and/or your guests. Prices vary during the season so please get in touch for a quote for your specific dates. They can help manage individual guest bookings if required, giving you one less thing to think about.
What’s not included:
If you’re interested in having your wedding at Penhein, we’d be delighted to show you around. To book a recce, please get in touch and we’ll arrange a date. Contact Teresa or Helen at email@example.com or call us on +44 (0)1633 400 581.
The glampsite is not included in the wedding package and needs to be booked separately. This is for the simple reason that, unlike the other items listed in our packages, the price for the glampsite varies throughout the season and the exact cost will depend on the date of your wedding. We can provide a quote for hiring the glampsite once we know your date, so if you have one in mind already, please let us know when you make an enquiry.
If you, as the organisers, are not planning on booking and paying for the whole glampsite yourselves, we can help manage individual bookings directly with your guests, giving you one less thing to think about.
Our wedding packages have been thoughtfully designed to help you with the big, logistical and sometimes rather complicated parts of planning a wedding whilst leaving plenty of room for you to put your personal stamp on things.
We work with a handful of selected partners to coordinate the key event production elements, such as catering, tipi, facilities, power and lighting, but there are some things that you’ll need to handle yourself, including flowers, decorations, photography, and music. Essentially, we provide the canvas but it’s your masterpiece!
For the full list of what’s included in our wedding packages (and what’s not) you can visit our website.
Different people have different interpretations of what a wedding planner does, so if you’re unsure about what we do or don’t offer, please get in touch. Rest assured that if there’s anything we can’t help with, we can certainly point you in the direction of someone who can. We’ll happily share our list of recommended local suppliers with you once your booking is confirmed and your date is set.
