The Setting

Located within the stunning environment of the grand and historic Wellington Estate owned by the Duke of Wellington, The Wellington Arms pub and hotel sits in the quaint village of Stratfield Turgis, which sits on the borders of Hampshire and Berkshire. Surrounded by beautiful lush green farming land, yet conveniently situated on the A33, The Wellington Arms provides easy access from both M4 and M3 motorways and a direct train route into London Waterloo (via Hook station) and London Paddington, although this latter route requires one train change (via Bramley station).

Nearby attractions are aplenty if you plan on spending a day or two before/after celebrating with your favourite people. Enjoy horse-riding, pampering time in a nearby salon, country walks, days out at the races or a day of golfing before returning to the venue’s pub for deliciously fresh, local and seasonal food and drink in one of their private or semi-private rooms or snugs. The Wellington Arms is a destination pub and hotel offering exceptional boutique accommodation and event space.
