If you are planning a wedding in London and are looking for a traditional and elegant venue full of history, then the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn is the perfect venue for you. The building was founded over six hundred years ago and offers an exclusive and impressive setting for your special day.
Gray’s Inn is in the perfect location in Central London, next to Chancery Lane station and within close walking distance from Holborn and Farringdon Stations, plus many bus routes from High Holborn. The venue benefits from private parking available within the two squares in the grounds, which on the weekends is free of charge, giving you and your guests additional ease of access.
Gray’s Inn is an exquisite choice for your big day, offering a traditional setting that looks breath-taking with only a few added details. The beautiful brand-new oak tables and chairs can be complimented by adding flower arrangements, table centres or you can even include their impressive silver candelabras – with real candles!
Their dedicated wedding coordinator will help you explore the different options available to enhance your wedding day. Their superb menus, attention to detail and faultless organisation will allow you to relax knowing that everything is taken care of. They would be delighted to create a bespoke menu and event for you, tailoring to your specific requirements.
The impressive oak panelled Elizabethan Hall seats up to 170 guests for a seated wedding breakfast. Offering exclusive use of the Gray’s Inn Domus, you will have access to a space for the ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast, plus two additional intimate spaces, meaning both of you can have a private room to gather your thoughts and get ready.
The Walks are made up of five acres of beautifully manicured gardens; one of the largest private gardens in London. The gardens are an idyllic spot for wedding celebrations in the warmer months for drinks receptions.
During June and July, a stunning marquee is in place, enabling you to have both your reception and wedding berakfast in another beautiful setting.
They are licensed in two different rooms for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships for up to 180 guests. Wedding ceremonies and receptions can take place all year round including weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.
