The Setting

A modern industrial shed set in the hills in the centre of Wales – located on farm land and designed and built by the owners Han and Neil. There is accommodation onsite, but also so much gorgeous local accommodation nearby.

There ain’t no UBER here, but they have their taxi buddies that they can recommend.

The Vibe

Han and Neil have built the perfect wedding venue to throw your unique, creative and highly personalised wedding. Complete with the beautiful aesthetics of a modern industrial space, but with home comforts, badass vibes and value for money.

Enjoy the chicness of a modern wedding surrounded by the lush countryside – best of both worlds right!

They want your wedding to be yours. Nothing is too out there. Have a ridiculous incredibly ‘out-there’ request? Ask them – it’ll probably be a YES! You won’t find this venue dictating that things have to be a certain way, at a certain time. Instead, they say: do what the f*ck you want, it’s all about you.

Vibe – wasn’t pretentious or intimidating.

Rules – or lack of! Loved how we could pretty much do what we wanted, when we wanted with no judgement or anyone telling us that that’s not how we should do things!

Location – close enough that travel wasn’t a massive issue but far enough that it felt special. Loved the sheep wandering the lane on the way down to the shed!

Price – no point lying, we were struggling to find a venue we could afford that would allow us to do things how we wanted, The Giraffe Shed was a dream come true!

I cannot stress how passionate, caring and helpful both Han and Neil are – they do really care about your wedding and want you to have the best day ever. This really isn’t your average wedding venue – after all the hard work and effort they’ve put in to making the shed what it is today, you really can see the passion they have for it. Getting married here set the vibe for the whole wedding which was relaxed, chilled and FUN. We threw a great party (think break dancing, crowd surfing and Run DMC dance off circles) and everyone absolutely loved it – even the older relatives we were worried about! Han and Neil couldn’t do more for us. We couldn’t have asked for more and we are so so so over the moon happy with how the weekend went. Nothing was too much trouble and we’re now friends for life.
