The Setting

Set in the heart of leafy Bloomsbury and overlooking picturesque Brunswick Square, the Foundling Museum can be exclusively yours for the most special day of your life. From an intimate civil ceremony to a glamorous reception, the Museum offers tranquillity and splendour away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The Museum is conveniently located 5 minutes from Russell Square underground station. Alternatively, King’s Cross St Pancras and Euston stations are approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the Museum.

The Vibe

From an intimate civil ceremony to a glamorous reception, the Museum is one of the most elegant and unique wedding venues in London, offering tranquillity and splendour away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Take your vows in one of their stunning rooms, then relax and enjoy champagne in their historic interiors.

With its beautiful eighteenth-century interiors housing a wealth of artistic treasures, the Museum is a stylish choice for a London wedding. As a licensed venue they can host wedding ceremonies or civil partnerships. Alternatively, the Museum is one of the few wedding reception venues in London offering exclusive hire so you and your guests can explore their Collection whilst enjoying drinks and canapés.

Ideal for both small or large weddings, their choice of rooms, both elegant and romantic, provide the perfect setting for your special day. Take your vows upstairs then descend the grand, sweeping staircase as a newlywed couple. The Court Room is the ideal space for an intimate ceremony with sumptuous olive-green walls, Persian carpet and striking rococo ceiling. Alternatively, the grand Picture Gallery can accommodate larger ceremonies. With tall sash windows and filled with antique furnishings, a grand marble fireplace and large-scale paintings, the wood floored gallery is a remarkable space in which to say ‘I do’.

Chat to one of their experienced wedding coordinators to discuss your special day.

The Museum has ramped access, a lift to all floors (width 80cm, height 200cm, length 140cm), accessible toilets and a cloakroom. A wheelchair, facilities for guide dogs, large print interpretation texts and magnifying glasses are also available on request.
