The Setting

You can have exclusive use of The Country Garden Wedding Venue with stunning views including two large barns.

The Country Garden Wedding Venue is set in an elevated position overlooking a magnificent views of South Herefordshire’s undulating patchwork of hills and valleys. It faces towards Ross on Wye, The Forest of Dean, May Hill and the Malvern Hills.

The position is rural and clear night skies are full of stars! However, Monmouth and Ross on Wye are just a 10 and 15 minute journey, where the A40 makes links with the M50 and M4 for the Midlands / Birmingham and South Wales / London respectively.

The Vibe

A Country Garden Wedding Weekend can be as relaxed or formal as you wish! There are over six acres of mature gardens, picturesque trees, lawns, pond, meadow, orchard and parking, all set well off the road and surrounded by fields.

The large expanse of lawn is a perfect setting for a marquee or yurt of your choice and they can recommend tried and tested suppliers. A civil ceremony or blessing can be held outside in the Gazebo overlooking wonderful views with an awning for guests should you wish.

As part of the wedding package they provide a wedding coordinator who can recommend and give any suggestions you may need with regards to local suppliers. They run our own bar but will be guided by your requirements.

Their weddings take place over selected weekends from April to September with the wedding day on a Saturday.

Your guests staying in the barns can arrive from the Friday afternoon and settle in. You can arrive, with a few helpers in tow, on the Thursday evening to settle in to prepare the marquee on the Friday. Having two barns on site each accommodating 14 people, gives that special emphasis for the families and different generations to enjoy precious time together.

There is also a 16th Century, one bedroom cottage with hot tub included in the package for the newlyweds for a 2 night honeymoon stay.
