With the emphasis on personality and originality, The Brewery can be found in the heart of the City.
This London wedding venue occupies the site of the former Whitbread brewery in East London. In 1750 Samuel Whitbread, having bought property in the area, transplanted his operations to Chiswell Street from two smaller breweries in Old Street and Brick Lane.
Within a few years Whitbread’s brewery had become a vast operation, its sheer size making it an attraction worthy of royal visits. George III, Queen Charlotte, Queen Elizabeth II and Elizabeth the Queen Mother all visited. Brewing on the site continued until 1976, the last tanker pulling out of the South Yard on April 13, bringing to an end a 225-year era.
So, with history, character and a great range of unique, adaptable spaces, The Brewery really is the perfect City Chic wedding venue.
The team at The Brewery think all weddings are different, a very personal day for each Bride and Groom. At The Brewery they’ll devise a package to make your day truly unique.
Before creating your bespoke wedding package, their Wedding Planner, the super lovely Milena, will listen to the requirements, preferences and budgets and will make recommendations based on this.
Milena will be with you from your initial enquiry through to the last dance. She will work alongside the vastly experienced Event Managers and highly trained staff to ensure your day runs smoothly, taking all the pressure away from you and creating your perfect day.
Working alongside trusted friends of The Brewery, Milena can help you piece together all the different parts of your wedding – from decor to DJ’s and flowers!
All the spaces at The Brewery have LED lighting to enhance the mood of your wedding or tailor to a specific colour scheme. They also feature a built in PA system for speeches and Wi-Fi for those important Facebook updates and tweets.
This really is one heck of a party venue as the wedding licence covers every room within The Brewery allowing your wedding ceremony and reception on-site for between 60 and 600 guests!
