The Setting

South Place Hotel is a boutique, luxurious, lively and fresh-faced hotel. Located in The City of London, the hotel is the first from restaurateurs, D&D London. With 80 bedrooms, two restaurants, five bars and a floor of event spaces, the hotel was designed for wining, dining and dancing, before falling into a comfortable bed.

The Vibe

The hotel offers one of three of the iconic Chop House restaurants on its ground floor, as well as the Michelin-starred Angler, led by Executive Chef, Gary Foulkes on its rooftop, with a beautiful open terrace looking out on London. These unique F&B offerings make the dining aspects of the hotel a strong beacon of excellence within its market. This was reinforced when South Place Hotel was the first hotel in the City to be honoured with a Michelin star five years ago.

On the first floor there are also some fabulous events spaces as well as the hotel’s Secret Garden – an outside bar with heaters, blankets and a retractable roof helping to maintain paradise climates all year round.

Designed by Conran + Partners, inspired details and playful touches across the hotel mirror the vibrant neighbourhood – a deft mixture of the contemporary City, London’s most historic quarters and the achingly cool East End. Both inside the hotel and a short walk away guests will find something to explore on every visit.

During the week the hotel exudes stylish business buzz and at the weekend it slips into something more elegant, with playful packages and DJs into the night.
