Set within 10 acres of picturesque Surrey parkland and only a 20-minute drive from London Heathrow airport, Oatlands Park Hotel offers a countryside escape with fast transport connections to central London. Tread the marriage path of Kings and Queens with a historical Surrey wedding venue like no other.
Oatlands Park Hotel is steeped in royal history as it was quite literally built for a King and Queen. The magnificent grounds were originally the site of a grand Tudor palace built by Henry VIII in 1538 ready for his new Queen, Anne of Cleves. When the marriage was annulled, it is said that Henry secretly married his next Queen, Catherine Howard, in the palace chapel.
Over the centuries, the house and grounds have been rebuilt and remodelled several times, and in different styles, by a string of wealthy tenants. The hotel today has been lovingly restored and refurbished it, retaining the unique character of the listed buildings and grounds.
Couples can follow in Tudor royalty footsteps in the newly refurbished, luxury 4-star hotel in Weybridge, Surrey. Set amidst the splendor of manicured gardens, the hotel offers the best of breathtaking scenery over the Surrey countryside and fine facilities. After undergoing a multi-million-pound refurbishment, the venue has an incredible range of impressive event spaces available to host that special day, from small and intimate affairs to large cultural weddings of up to 350 guests.
With four event rooms licensed for wedding ceremonies and the option of a wedding package or Dry-Hire, Oatlands Park Hotel is a popular wedding venue throughout the year. The stunning views offer plenty of photo opportunities and the 10 acres gardens allow more space to entertain guests, while 120 bedrooms offer the very best in elegance, comfort and style for wedding guests.
